Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A well run and convenient caravan park. The Deluxe Studio was one of 4, all sharing one long verandah. Personally, I think each individual room should have their own partitioned section, even if only three quarters of the way up. Nice to have a modern spacious bathroom but the sound proofing between rooms could have been better. Other Studios in Caravan Parks that I have stayed in, have provided an electric frypan to make up for the fact that there are no cooking facilities except for the microwave. Also day/night blinds for privacy during the day would be a good idea. Ok for a short stay if a couple but for a longer stay one might find it a bit too compact.

The staff were friendly on arriving and showed us to our site. It was a super clean caravan park, some muddy grass patches from recent rain, but that was all ok. It was so nice and quiet at night time and good to see that the jumping pillow was closed on dark to add to the quietness. The bathrooms were nice and warm with the cold weather and very clean. The close walk to Sovereign Hill was a bonus and also to some local eating. We hired the spa for a half hour and this was great relax time. Our kids commented about how good it was that there were a few movie times during the day for them to go to and it also helped to break up play time too. We can definitely recommend and would visit again.

We stayed 4 nights over the Easter break. What a fantastic park! This was our 2nd stay and we had a brilliant time. The park is so lovely - small, immaculate and lovingly maintained. Beautiful grassy sites (great slabs), gorgeous trees (stunning autumn colours), great amenities. The weather was amazing so we made lots of use out of the beautiful pool, perfect for cooling off after a day exploring Sovereign Hill. The facilities at the park are wonderful - asides from the pool there’s also an indoor spa, jumping pillow, go karts, games room, chess (huge hit with our son), playground and toddlers indoor playroom. Over the Easter long weekend the park put on some fantastic activities - daily movies, pancake breakfast, sausage sizzle, fire engine, food truck (so yum!!), daily gelato van (Best. Gelato. EVER!) and daily coffee van (amazing coffee!!), along with colouring in competitions and various other Easter competitions (our daughter was thrilled to win the “guess the Easter eggs” competition!!)). The staff here are amazing, they never stopped the entire weekend - Claire and Jack (apologies to the other man working in the park - I missed your name!) were so lovely, so friendly and so hard working! Thank you for your amazing efforts in giving us a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable, just a 5 minute walk to Sovereign Hill, it’s perfect. The vibe here is just lovely - so relaxed, laid back, quiet, perfect. Can’t recommend highly enough - thank you so much, we will be back!

Once again we met up with school friends at a BIG 4, this time at the Goldfields Holidays Park in Ballarat. This is NOT the biggest park you will stay at but it is very clean, the staff are excellent, the rates reasonable and the amenities excellent. Ideally located just a short walk to Sovereign Hill, it is off a very busy street and wonderfully quiet. Highly recommended.

Great facilities at this very clean, neat & tidy caravan park, make it the perfect base for spending a few days in beautiful Ballarat. Best bathrooms we’ve ever seen in a caravan park! (Those shower curtains are such a nice touch, keeping everything so dry for a change.) Excellent customer service, shout out to Jack, maintenance man extraordinaire! Good value for money, close to Sovereign Hill, & easy phone booking at very short notice, in spite of a busy weekend with the annual Begonia Festival happening. Don’t miss the beautiful Botanical Gardens, & The Art Gallery of Ballarat has wonderful exhibitions, loved the VCE students section & the permanent collection too. The Prime Ministers sculptures in the Botanical Gardens are superb, excellent likenesses!

Great for kids! My son thoroughly enjoyed the pillow and pool and riding his scooter around the park with all the other kids. The playground could use an update though as it’s not very exciting. Cabin was fine although the bunk bed - bottom double was sooo uncomfortable. Might be ok for kids but do not recommend for an adult. Also we couldn’t get the tv remote to work so had to manually change the channel every time and staff couldn’t help - very painful we gave up! Didn’t get wifi password so didn’t use - this should just be standard in each room rather than having to ask.
