The Auldlington is a converted Convent with quaint settings. City view rooms definitely the better option and there is a common/reading room that is both cosy in the cooler days and has access to a large balcony to take advantage of the views from its high location in the hills of Launceston. Staff are friendly and informative. There are many...

Being an old building we were greeted by a large comfortable bed room and bathroom, with both a shower and bath. The manager couldn't do enough for us, even putting a microwave in the room. The building has three stories and the breathtaking view of Launceston is breathtaking. We found the room's facilities were very comfortable, especially the bed, with...

Stayed for just one night in this converted convent. Had a top floor corner room with a balcony which was great. The service at reception was really friendly, even showing us to the room and opening the door - excellent. But need to be aware reception is not 24 hour, understandable for a boutique hotel. The room had everything we...

The room was nice and clean, we had a big bath to soak in. The fridge full of goodies if you wished to purchase and they weren't over the top prices like some places. Walking distance to a few restaurants. I think it had WiFi but only a certain amount so we just used our own

You can hire dvds from their Selection folder or byo I guess. There is also a small fridge with mini bar. Tea and coffee making...

Stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids, 6 and 9 years of age. Im rating 5/5 as it was more than we expected, having 2 separate rooms with their own TV's & DVD players came in handy.Modern rooms with great atmosphere and close enough to the city to walk. Helpful staff.

This hotel really exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous room (21) on the first floor with huge dual aspect windows looking over Launceston and our own private balcony. Bed was super comfortable and everything was a short walk away. Internet is limited (you are provided a voucher with a limited MB) but the staff were really good and provided...

I called reception to...
