My husband and I traveled through Tasmania in January this year. We were delighted with our stay at Ashton Gate. Shannon and Craig were more than welcoming and extremely approachable. From joining us for a drink under their 100 year old apricot tree, to sharing a laugh in the beautiful guest lounge room. Craig was able to provide sound advice...

Craig and I are delighted to hear that your stay at Ashton Gate Guest House was a memorable part of your Tasmanian adventures. The jam is a popular purchase item and we are relieved not to be picking up apricots three times a day, thanks for your help with this task. We both hope to see you return in Winter,...

Look no further for the best B&B in Launceston! After a 3 night stay in the Jennifer Cottage we could not be more convinced that Ashton Gate has everything you could ever want. The cottage is fully self contained if you want time to yourself but you are also welcome to use the Guest Lounge in the main house which...

We spent two nights with Shannon and Craig and found them to be super friendly and charming hosts. The house is old but nicely restored and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Easy parking as well. High recommended for a stay in this charming town.

Everything about this B&B was wonderful The breakfasts, the room, the location and the delightful host and hostess. Dinner recommendations were very good. Even though the hosts were fairly new to Launceston, they were very knowledgeable and helpful in every way. We'll hurry back.

Stayed one night. Lovely property and very welcoming hosts. The room was quiet and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Had a lovely breakfast of stewed fruit followed by poached egg with bacon and toast which set me up nicely for the rest of the day. Planning a return stay when visiting Launceston for other events.
