Centrally located, friendly & helpful staff. Rooms are clean & new. Recommended. The breakfast was good but a bit slow paced for me - great if youre on holiday. Will stay again by choice if in launceston

The man and I enjoyed 3 nights in a one bedroom apartment. The room was at the back of the hotel away from lifts and the main road. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable for two. The kitchen was well equipped enough to cook a simple pasta dinner and breakfast. The spa bath was a welcome relief after walking... More

Lovely accommodation in good location in Launceston. We had a very nice and modern 2 bedroom suite with lounge, dining, 2 bathrooms, laundry, balcony. We stayed here before and after our bay of fires walk as this was the collection point. Laundry was very handy afterwards! Good selection of brochures, good breakfast. (Though would have to say if comparing and... More

Everything about the Sebel was good. Our room was comfortable and quiet, service was friendly and breakfast was tasty (and with an Accor Advantage membership half price for food). Would certainly stay at the Sebel if in Launceston again.

A lovely Sebel standard hotel. 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious, and clean. Although quiet from street noise, we were unfortunate to have noise from above, and a continuous water running sound also from above, for 2 nights. Management were quick to try to rectify this. Despite this, the Sebel is pleasant, and a very short walk away from the... More

I had several stays here recently and each was very pleasant. As an Accor Platinum member, I was always very warmly welcomed and the front desk people couldn't do enough for me. The rooms (suites) , requested to be at the back of the hotel, were all very quiet - I couldn't hear the clock tower chiming at all, at... More

Stayed two nights and received an upgrade to a family suite with laundry facilities. After a week on the road, this was a real treat! Parking on site was cheap and the staff service from reception was excellent.

Had the opportunity to stay at The Sebel for two nights & then one, our rooms were exceptionally well presented, the front desk staff, Bec & Michelle knew every answer to our queries re where things were in Lonnie, suggestions, ideas, wonderful friendliness & warmth, the interesting thing was that they both remembered us when we returned 2 weeks later,... Launceston is not a big city so don't expect big city hotels. We didn't and were very pleased with the end result. We were in Tassie to trek the Overland Track and the Tasmanian Walking Co recommended The Sebel pre-and-post departure. They've obviously done a deal. It's easy to see why. The service was excellent (thank you Michelle, you carry... More
