Clock tower will keep you awake at night as it's on the same street, get a room at the rear you will sleep better. I was awoken 5 times on the Friday night. Asked to move rooms on Saturday they said were fully booked then when I mentioned reviews they instantly had a room for me, sounded a bit fishy....

Stayed just the one night for work. Shame. Great hotel. Great room. Large and comfortable with separate sleeping area. No 'full' buffet breakfast but the ala carte options are great. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a number of years. Only drawback is that, due to printing issues, I am still waiting for tax invoice for...

Well situated. Sleep comfort was wonderful, such a comfortable bed and pillows. Large rooms. Facilities to make breakfast etc. There is a town bell that chimes on the hour (they provide earplugs) but this really wasn't an issue!

Our group of 8 stayed here prior to our Tasmanian Wilderness Trek. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, the space and the decor. Check in was smooth and easy & nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious & they accommodated our timeframe to be out early. Yes I would stay there again. It would be great if...

We needed 2 nights accommodation in Launceston. This was perfect. We arrived late afternoon, check in was polite, courteous and prompt. Our room was great. A large living space, clean and tidy. Bathroom large enough that we could both be in at the same time. Bedroom large too with plenty of wardrobe space. We didn't eat there as options were...

The Sebel seems almost out of place in Launceston because it's modern and has lots of plate glass. It's a good comfortable hotel on the edge of the central district near the town hall. The suites are very spacious with a large lounge/ kitchen area a large bedroom with king bed, separate loo and large bathroom with bath and shower....

We were very happy with the standard of this apartment style accommodation. The suites are very modern and well appointed with a separate bedroom and comfortable main lounge and kitchen area. There is an excellent restaurant on the premises too.

Two bookend stays at the Sebel, at the start and end of our Bay of Fires walking trek left us uninspired. Not with the walk but with the accommodation we chose. Accor members, we booked through them and redeemed one free night. The room was second rate, overlooking the car park, bathroom dated and in fact the room was for...

Dear Michelle, I’m sorry if our front office team did not attend to you in a timely manner. We do have peaks and troughs on reception and busy times sometimes occur with bus drop offs from the airport but we do try to staff our reception to handle peak times so my apologies if the check in process was not...

We stayed here for 12days in December-a stay extended by an unfortunate accident at Cradle Mountain. It is difficult to believe that a hotel could have looked after us better. From the owners down to housekeeping staff they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel itself is well situated with rooms that provide for every...

Dear Martin, It was a pleasure to have met you and your wife and we are all glad to hear you made it back to the UK safely. I have to say that your positive attitude after such an unlucky incident is a lesson for us all. I'm sorry you weren't able to continue your trip around Tasmania this time...
