Perfect as a base for our family holiday. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Altho we missed a dryer, there was a washing machine, clothesline and air dryer available. Staff were very accommodating. Just across from a coles and good bakery for coffee, 5min walk to a beautiful park, walking distance to many other attractions. Booking direct well ahead you may be able to get a cheaper deal as well.

Hi 305juliet, Thank you for your review about Elphin Serviced Apartments. Yes we do at the moment don't have driers in the Apartments. Although we do have a drying service for $12 for a full load. yes you are correct when you book early the cost is better than booking at the last minute with limited rooms on big events the cost goes up. The Apartments are located across the road from K-Mart and Coles and are one block away from the park and then the CBD, so it is a convenient location.
Our townhouse featured three bedrooms, a laundry, fully equipped kitchen, two toilets and a new barbecue. It was reasonably clean. The staff were helpful, but didn’t go above and beyond and the office is only accessible from 8:00am until 7:00pm. Still, it was good value for money, well managed and quiet, considering that it was full every night. TIP - back your car into your car space so it is easier to get out again in the morning. The car park is very tight when it is full.

Lovely place to stay. Well located to be able to get around the city with a supermarket across the street and walking distance to city centre and beautiful parks. Absolutely no noise from the road, other guests or neighbourhood do was very peaceful. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and the most comfortable beds ensured a restful nights sleep. I had requested a ground floor apartment and walk in shower for my elderly mother who was staying with us and these were accommodated. I really can’t fault anything about this place other than it would be beneficial to have lighting above the mirror in the bathroom for applying makeup and shaving. Would be happy to stay here again and would definitely recommend.

The motel is directly opposite a Coles and K mart . We had booked the three bedroom apartment . Parking is directly in front of the apartment . The first floor had a living room , dining room and a kitchen as well as a toilet . A small laundry room had a washing machine but no dryer. Second floor had three bedrooms , two queen bedrooms and two single beds in the third bedroom , no heating available upstairs , only ceiling fans. The toilet had a spa bath . All amenities work very well except for the soft bed . My hubby had a backache after sleeping one night .

We visit family in Launceston 4 times a year over the last 3-4 years and always stay here as the location, facilities, cleanliness and service is exceptional. Have stayed in other places initially but now always book here. On one occasion I had to cancel at short notice because of injury but they did not charge which was greatly appreciated.

A great find in a quiet location. The room was extremely well equipped with crockery, cutlery and glasses. Bathroom was well supplied with pump style shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and hand/body wash. A much more sustainable approach than individual sachets. Loved having a grey face wash instead of a white one. How sensible for make up removal! Room wasn't huge but was very comfortable. Well priced.

I needed a place to stay in Launceston, with my parents after Dr visits. Elphin Villas was just perfect as we were able to get a two bedroom apartment with cooking facilities, my father was to weak and ill to go out for meals. The staff were/are so friendly and helpful. I needed assistance getting (a still under the effects of anaesthesia) father out of the car and inside, John was a great help and asked if there was anything else he could do or get for us. Nice and warm, clean and tidy perfect for us. Will be back at some stage I'm sure.

John and Anthea were very understanding as we had to amend our 3 night multi room booking (10 persons) a number times due to border restrictions changing resulting in revised travel dates.
The (3) apartments were all spacious, clean and contained all the essentials.
We found numerous restaurants within a 12 minute walking distance and never considered the walk to pose any dangers such was the lighting and openness.
Overall a great place to stay.

Once again a great stay at Elphin Villas. John, Anthea & the team at Elphin Villas go above and beyond when you stay. We made a late decision to go to Launceston, but a phone call had us booked in without a problem. We stayed in the Queen Motel room which has all we required for our overnight stay. What always impresses me about Elphin Villas is the rooms are always very clean and the welcome is sincere, with nothing a problem if you ask for something. I know we will definitely stay again when we go to Launceston. Thank you, you are the best!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a little small, but was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely return.
I really appreciated extra tea, coffee, sugars etc which were generously restocked daily, and the owner hosing down vehicles after an unexpected dumping of snow overnight.

Hello, In our two bedroom apartments there is only the one bathroom and it is not an ensuite. In our three bedroom apartments we do have some that have the two bathrooms and all have two toilets. If I can be of further assistance please contact me and have a great day.
