As others have said, this motel is very tired and in need of refurbishment. However, the price reflects that and there is a functional, indoor, pool. In our room the washbasin, mirror, etc were located outside the bathroom that only contained a shower and toilet. The doonas were also very thin and the heatbank only just adequate. We also could not find any wi-fi password inside our room and there was no guest information compendium. So perhaps we might have given this facility just a one or two star rating, but it deserves better because of outstanding customer service from the reception staff member on duty. Our booking was botched (not the fault of Village), but the very helpful staff member assisted to obtain a refund from the booking engine and then also found us a room after much ringing around as it was a fully booked date. Great credit for such helpful and patient service. Well done.

Website for this motel is very deceiving. Expected to find restaurant actively serving meals only to find it has been closed since the beginning of Covid pandemic. There was no other restaurant available within walking distance. This information should be clearly stated on website - it would have had a bearing on our booking

Motel old and outdated. Restaurant and bar is no longer open. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only service that was done during our stay was clean towels, rubbish removed and coffee tea and sugar. Beds were not made or cleaning done.

We stayed herefor four nights on a family holiday consisting of four adults. The only thing that was ok was the showerr and clean towels. As for everything else it is about 30 years out of date .strip lights all over the place, torn furniture and curtains which were not even a pair. I took the toaster out of the cupboard on the first morning and crumbs fell all over the floor, they stayed there for four days the apartment was never cleaned. Also the bar was supposed to be open Monday to Saturday, I went and asked Saturday night if the bar was open and the reply was "o no we don't open it "

Absolutely horrible. They gave us the wrong room as they were "booked out"
I could not sleep whatsoever. I had people next door moving chairs and banging on the walls and yelling/talking as loud as they could.
The outside lights kept turning on which kept waking me up. There were only 2 extra blankets that were filthy and had musty stains on them.
The mattress was uncomfortable and i was literally in pain - with the pillow being so thin they might as well have not had any, as well as thin doona (wouldnt even call it that.) i literally had to sleep on the floor. The bedding was also dusty and dirty, looked like it hadnt been washed in years.
The bathroom was filthy and there were spiders and bugs everywhere The bed lights wouldnt work and there were barely any power points - the heated blankets and heater weren't even plugged in and wasnt anywhere to even plug them in??

Booked 3 weeks because I was homeless at the time, checked out 1 week early with 72 hours notice as I had found somewhere to live, and am still waiting on a refund! Have made numerous calls over so many weeks now and have had excuse after excuse to no avail. Facilities were poorly maintained. Would never recommend, ever.

Although clean and tidy the accommodation is old and in need of upgrading. A very old panel heater was unable to take the chill out of the room The TV was a small 22", insufficient for the side of the room. No cutlery or crockery other than cups, saucers and teaspoons Dated.

It was as clean as it could be but wow. $220 for a two bedroom apartment. Heavily stained seats and carpet, shower and basin taps continually running, handrail removed from stairs, torn blinds, bedroom window winder broken, decor and paintwork extremely old and in need for repair, fluro lights in the bedrooms, no lamps. Little insulation from Outside and neighbours noise. The cleaners did the best they could do but wow, well below average for any price let alone $220 Check in and checkout was pleasant and easy but about time the owners spent some money.

The room was very out dated , needed more blankets as the ones they provided were too thin , also needed an extra pillow I woke up with a sore neck . Tv didn’t really work very pixilated couldn’t even watch it . Every light was fluorescent tubes one wouldn’t turn on as it kept flickering, the lighting was uncomfortable , not warm . The only good thing was the shower but Im sure the glass broke so they replaced it with a curtain . Thankfully it was only for the night before we flew out .

My friend and myself stayed here just recently and the room when we opened the door smelt like string stale urine along with a white stain on the top bedding, I went and spoke with the receptionist she wasn’t very compassionate about what I had just told her about our room but agreed to come and have a look, she then preceded to smell around not looking concerned then got out some oil essence and dropped it on the floors then she checked out the stain on the bed and said it’s apart of the cover, I then said no I would like to swap rooms but she said nothing was available the walls were filthy the bed smelt stale the curtains were so old I could see the light straight through them the rubber backing was worn the sliding door to the porch didn’t slide along without having to pull hard to open it. The next morning I seen the couple out on their porch and I asked what their room was like and they said their room smelt like stale cigarettes and that their shower flooded everywhere all over the floor! I would not recommend this place to stay very rude non caring and down right filthy. I have attached a picture of the curtains.
