Booked a few weeks prior as needed a 2 bedroom and not much available in Launceston. Arrived mid afternoon and reception staff particularly friendly and informative. Went to room no: 25 and when the door was opened heat and a burning smell poured out. Discovered the stove was on full and although I tried I could not turn it off....

Basic & a bit outdated but very clean & a comfortable bed. Very friendly & pleasant gentleman at check in. Parking outside the door. Nice continental breakfast included in a very reasonable tariff. Would stay here again.

I needed a room in a hurry after an AirBnB fell through. Staff are friendly but for the cost (around $120aud) I expect better. TV only worked properly on 3 channels. Room was clean but very much in need of a refresh and quite basic. Breakfast was mostly terrible, easily the worst coffee I've had in years. Nice view though.

We stayed here for 5 nights and from the warm welcome at check in till we checked out was just perfect. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast that was included in our tariff was great. We felt like we were back in the 70's - and yes, we are old enough to remember those years. Whilst clean and fairly well-maintained, the only modern addition to the room was a rather small TV - even the wall heater must have been decades old. Blue carpet and bedspread but everything else was brown and beige. The bathroom...

The motel was situated on the top of a hill and had great views from our room. The room itself was a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable although the drain did smell a bit. The bed was very comfortable and there were no stairs to climb and the parking was outside our door. The people running it...

We booked 2 rooms. The views are very nice from the rooms. Breakfast was very simple. It was included in the price. Rooms are comfortable if you are there for one day. The bathrooms are very old and need renovation. Felt that the bathrooms needed to be cleaned properly as they were not smelling fresh.

A comfortable stay with beautiful grounds and a great sense of space around the well kept gardens. The view over Launceston town and to the Tamar River is quite spectacular! The food is sensational and restaurant quality, the staff are friendly and welcomed us to visit the bar area. We really enjoyed our time here, and would highly recommend!

Very comfortable and clean operated by a great team who put customers and their requirements first. I have stayed here several times on my nine fishing and touring trips to Tasmania and I am always made welcome. Looking forward to trip number 10 in January 2018.
