Big clean rooms in a great location. Good value overall. Comfortable king sized bed. However, we were downstairs and there was so much noise above us. Every footstep. Every word. Very very noisy. Even people walking up the stairs were very noisy . Recommend asking for an upstairs room.

We stayed in a two cottage for a few days. It was very clean and neat, loved how bright and light it was, and the garden surroundings. Hideaway on George is close to restaurants and supermarkets and has good parking if required. We hope to stay again, next time we are in Tasmania.

Stayed here for three nights, great location off the street with plenty of food and drink options nearby. Close to the Church with bells that go off every 15-30 minutes roughly. The shower can take a bit of time to get to the right temperature and sometimes causes a bit of flooding to the floor, not a major issue though. Would definitely recommend to others, and the daily housekeeping if you want it was always immaculate.

I have stayed here before over the years but this was Pete’s first time. He was very impressed. Our room was upstairs, with a lovely view over the city from a tiny balcony. Our room was clean, warm and well equipped. Super big bed. Lovely hot shower. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Hideaway is centrally located, just a few blocks from the city centre. Walking to the Gorge from here is easy and is a delightful excursion. Highly recommended
