Peppers Seaport Hotel emerges as a favored choice for many visitors, who laud its excellent location near dining, shopping, and picturesque marina vistas. The staff receives accolades for their attentive and warm service. While guests relish the hotel's spotless environment and spacious rooms boasting comfortable bedding and impressive views, some have called out the disruptive noise from a nearby bar.
Although the value offered by the hotel is appreciated, there are mixed feelings regarding room quality and certain additional fees. Nonetheless, the array of amenities, including full kitchens and laundry services, enhances the overall guest experience.

Nice hotel situated just outside city centre so very easy walks into the centre and shops. Several easy walks down the riverbanks if you want to go further. There are charges for car parking but you get reduced rates via the hotel. Rooms on the river side are the better ones to stay in as when we looked at one on the roadside, it was quite noise as a busy main road in/out of Launceston. Some rooms were believe are suites with self-catering, others not.

This is a fabulous property and well situated within Launceston. Magnificent walks around the Tamar River. So close to many excellent restaurants including the sister property of Peppers Silos. Staff are amazing, So ready to help and offer a greeting when you arrive back and all the time smiling. We had a special request for housekeeping that was acted upon immediately and every time we saw the head lady she always asked if there was anything we needed. The suite/appartment was amazing, just so big and a full size refrigerator that allowed for the wine bottles for when we entertained guests. Management also helped us out as we had issues with cancelled flights followed by delayed flights.that resulted in our delayed arrival. I am an Accor member recently renewed as we travel more and now I really know why. Is there any negatives in regard to Peppers Seaport - absolutely none!! Even our local guests remarked how great everything was.

My husband and I stayed in the suite with 2 balconies and views over the Tamar river. The suite was spacious and very comfortable. Reception staff were amazing and picked up the slack of housekeeping staff who with exception of Thursday didn't do any cleaning or proper service. We had to ask for basic necessities such as toilet paper. This venue deserves a 5 but for being let down by what appears to be lazy housekepping staff who are not doing their job. I would personally sack the weak links because this venue is really fantastic. Thank you to Reception staff, you made our stay fantastic and a pleasure to be there.

Stayed here for 2 nights while in Tasmania. Were given an upgrade to a marina view suite as hotel loyalty programme members. Room was excellent, with full kitchen area including washer and dryer, lounge and separate bedroom and bathroom. Small balcony overlooking the marina. The location at the marina is good as there are several restaurants adjacent to the hotel, and it is easy walking into the shopping areas in Launceston. The hotel’s sister hotel is across the bridge and you can access this if you wish. Our only criticism of the hotel is the almost constant loud music from Mudbar, which is a bar/restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel building, but does not belong to the hotel. There are speakers outside on the marina walkway, and any room like ours at the back of the hotel cannot escape the noise, which goes on until around midnight. We did ask if we could move rooms, but the hotel was full. For us this took the edge off what should have been a very comfortable stay, and on that basis we would not stay here again.

The rooms are very spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff are helpful and polite. The kitchen has no pantry needs and the cooking equipment is very basic. The restaurant on the ground floor plays loud music including through out side speakers until quite late. Although the manager accommodated our request to move rooms, i would not recommend staying here if you want a quiet peaceful night.

The room and location and price for the stay were all great. What elevated it to another level was the customer service. Before arriving I was phoned twice by staff to confirm all booking information/check in requests. We arrived on Easter Sunday to eggs hidden in the room which my son thought was fabulous. The Reception staff were very welcoming and there was a cordial and homemade truffle stand in the foyer which I a thought was a great experience. One night I was coming back and mentioned to the gentleman manning Reception how much I loved the truffles and wished I could buy them. Later that evening he sent a whole plate up 😀 A call out to the cleaners who were also very friendly and helpful. A 5 star stay for us!

The location is excellent with plenty of eating options right on your doorstep. It is an easy walk into the main shopping area or across the walking bridge to the well maintained park area and playground. The staff were lovely at both check in and check out. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We were only able to book city view suites (x2) and the road noise can be SLIGHTLY heard. The staff were excellent, and attended to any requests quickly. The rooms were very clean, and well equipped. We stayed over the Easter weekend and did not hear any loud music from the bar below. There are two eateries attached to the hotel, and several eating places next door overlooking the river. We highly recommend the Reel Fish and Chips restaurant in the complex next to the hotel, which is licenced and has the best crispy skin salmon, and fish and chips. The breakfast in the cafe below the hotel is also excellent with a great variety of food and overlooks the river.

My family of four spent a night in the 2 Bedroom River Views suite. Having the alcove joining the River View Studio and the River View Suite meant our teenagers had their own space but we all could come together in the larger living spaces of the suite. The furnishing of the suite gave it a luxurious feel. Big bathroom, comfy bed. It was also handy to have a kitchen and to be able to do a load of laundry. The booking process was easy and reception staff were lovely. There was a fee to park in the car park but given the location I think that is to be expected. The view of the river was lovely, and the hotel was in walking distance of several places to eat and was a quick drive to shops. If we are in Launceston again, we will definitely return to this hotel.
