Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Service was very good. My wife forgo her shower cap and the young man at the reception went out of his way to supply us with one. Also the Manager and Staff at the Restaurant were very friendly. We will choose your Hotel again on our next visit.

Only a short stay but that was enough to know that this was a great hotel. The room size was more than adequate and we loved that the ensuite /dressing room was actually behind the bedroom wall that provided privacy and peace during a nighttime excursion!! We only had the breakfast buffet and that was more than satisfactory.

An excellent hotel to stay at for business travelers. Short walking distance to the restaurant district. Good recommendations from the staff. I left my car keys on the table at the bar and went for a walk to an external restaurant and the reception rang to let me know that they had the keys and not to worry. Their customer service was excellent. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

This historic hotel is lovely, with attentive staff and comfortable rooms. The location is perfect, near downtown and Cataract Gorge, and the price is incredibly reasonable. The staff was very helpful, and our bartender gave us several tips for accessing the activities we wanted to experience.

Great hotel in excellent location - walk to City Park with Japanese monkeys at end of Cameron Street and cafes & shops behind the hotel and 'dAda muse' Salvatore Dali Art Gallery around the corner in Cimitiere Street. Also walk to Seaport restaurants on the waterfront. Love Launceston!

The hotel maybe getting a little tired decor wise, but the rooms are large, beds are comfortable, service is impeccable and the location is spot on. Always a reliable option for one night or many. Safe to recommend to any discerning traveller.

Would stay again. Just need better information from staff regarding WiFi when checking in. In house dinning not the most affordable. Good location. Just around the corner from the James Boag brewery. Central city Launceston.
