Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The 2 bedroom unit was of a good size however could do with a up date and the place needs better sound proofing as well as fixing noisey plumping. On the up side it had all the necessary appliances for a longer stay. I didn't like the idea of paying for the bbq $1 for about 8 minutes it cost us about $5. Overall ok but much better can be found

Thank you for your comments, updates were put on hold after some expensive unexpected water problems, but are planned for the future Will take onboard the need for better soundproofing, and free BBQ, noisy plumbing we can check. Otherwise we are pleased that your stay with us was satisfactory, our aim is to provide clean affordable accommodation to suit most families. Kind regards, Allison.

I'd like to thank the host / manager for waiting for us until past 7:30. He was very accommodating and even showed us which places to visit in Mt.Gambier. The unit I got was big enough for all 4 of us - 3 bedrooms. The place comes with a kitchenette and essential cooking utensils. It is a quiet place as it is a fair bit away from the highway and about 3 kms out of town.

Thank you for your review, we are always happy to show our guest what Mount Gambier has to offer, Most of our units are quite spacious, and are equipped with most of the essentials needed, for a comfortable stay. If we can help with anything, other than what is supplied just ask at the office. Late checkins are not a problem, just let us know beforehand that you will be late. Kind regards, Allison.

Good clean park. Friendly staff. It appears that there are only ensuites for caravans which was excellent and it cost far less there than other parks offering less for your dollar. Also excellent park for dog owners, as we are. Big off lead yard and bags provided. Wish there were more parks like this.

Stayed 1 night in a 2 bedroom apartment. A bit dated but spotlessly clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. The Umphertson sinkhole just down the road is well worth a visit. Take some apple pieces for the possums if you visit at night.

I was seeking a site for a single night only. I had no need for power however all of the sites at this venue are powered ensuite sites. I was immediately offered a nice discount.
The place was quiet and comfortable. Located close to many of the towns attractions easy to find.
I'll be heading back here again.

A simple caravan park, we were in a campervan and found this place to be ok for a one night stop. it's near a major highway , so can be a bit noisy. no other guest were around us,Had our own toilet and shower room next to our van, it was old, but clean,
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Position is near the sink hole. Just 5mins down the road we had a fun evening seeing the possums come out at dusk and kids loved running around in the hole.
We did Adelaide-Robe-Mt Gambier- Port Campbell- Aireys Inlet-Geelong then Melbourne.

I stayed here at the Limestone Coast Tourist Park about a month and a half ago. I found it to be quite a nice place to stay at. It was REALLY peaceful which I appreciated a lot having come from the city. The place had a really nice atmosphere! Also the bed was comfy and everything in the room worked fine. There's no wifi in the room but I had my own anyway as do most people these days so it wasn't a problem. The service was really good too! Through my time staying there I met both the manager and one of his daughters and they were really friendly and helpful.
The only real problem I had staying here was that there were a lot of ants in the room. I hate ants but it wasn't that much of an issue considering the location of the place, it's understandable. Investing in some bug spray, either by buying it yourself or asking at the reception for some (they offer it so just go and ask them about it).
If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay then this place is your place. If you require a bit more hustle and bustle around I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

Hired a cabin for wife and two kids, $150 p/n. Cabin was clean but old, shower dripped, and could hear every single word of conversations in cabins either side - not soundproof at all! Very poor accommodation for the money, will be going elsewhere next time we're in Mt. Gambier.
