Delgattie Estate is a grand country manor situated in the heart of Mount Gambier. Established in 1902, the iconic property has entered a new era of refined living after being luxuriously restored as a boutique hotel. Discover premium accommodation in three individually-designed guest suites, each with its own en suite, sitting room and private access.

This beautiful estate has nothing to fault !,, from the moment we got there Greeted by the lovely Chelsea ;to the room which was stunning we had the the Frew Suite !!!! sent photos to family straight away I was so excited! This is a wonderful boutique luxury option for a stay in Mt Gambier. Located about a 5–10-minute walk to the centre of town, this is a heritage property that has been renovated and furnished to a high standard. The common areas are beautiful – gorgeous dining room and full size billiards room! The high quality linens, fluffy towels and bathrobes, beautiful mini bar and glassware are thoughtful touches that make this a luxe stay. We stayed in the Hay Suite which had a bedroom with a large flat screen TV and a small lounge with a gas fireplace. These were connected by a spacious well-equipped bathroom. The space didn’t work that well for us because we are on a long road trip with lot of luggage, but this is a lovely option for a weekend treat!

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning property. We had a room with interconnecting lounge area. Antique furniture and ornamentation beautifully compliment the historic building. Really comfy bed and bedding. Bathroom very stylish with underfloor heating, Welcomed on arrival by Michael who was very friendly, making sure we had everything we needed after a long drive. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjoining property (The Commodore). Would recommend both.

This is a very beautiful small "hotel villa". It is adjunct with the Hotel Commodore just a short walk down the road. Very friendly service, the lady showed us our room and the rest of the house. Would also be perfect for a large family staying in several rooms, as there is a kitchen and dining room in the shared area. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant of hotel commodore and it was very good and service extremely friendly. The room was extremely beautiful, fire place, large bathroom, all very clean. Can only recommend.

Beautiful boutique accommodation in Mount Gambier. Charming facilities, rooms immaculately clean with lots of little extra bonuses. Bedroom, beautiful bathroom and deluxe sitting room with your own gas fireplace. Accommodation has 3 suites under the same roof, but there is enough space to not run into the other guests if you prefer not too. Upstairs is a piano and full size billiards table with a balcony overlooking the township. Reccomend tea next door at sister hotel the Commodore. Exquisite food and service. Thanks to staff member Ashley who provided excellent customer service.

We spent one night in the Walker Suite at Delgattie Estate and cannot speak highly enough of our experience. We felt so welcome and looked after from the moment we checked in, greeted with a bottle of bubbly on ice and everything we could possibly need in our room to unwind after a day of driving. The breakfast hamper and coffee delivered in the morning was also a lovely touch. Can't wait to come back and stay again!

We were met at the Estate by Ashley, and it was evident he loved his job, and why not as the Estate is superb - we stayed in the Walker Suite and we were very impressed with the furnishings and decor. Nothing was left to chance and a breakfast hamper was delivered to our room as requested. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable we have slept in, probably quite relaxed after drinking the bottle of wine left for us to indulge. Would we stay here again? In a heartbeat whenever back in Mount Gambier.

Of the 3 suites available, only the Walker Suite appealed to us for its size and decoration. Positives: Wonderful bed !! Heated marble bathroom floors, deep bath, good lighting, beautiful sunny sitting room, fabulous property, free roam of the common areas including the kitchen, pool room and dining room, beautiful furnished with lovely tea/coffee/liquor set up, wonderful selection of furniture. Drawbacks: Little space for hanging clothes, no sofa (if you want to watch TV, the most comfortable option is to lay in bed but there's also a straight backed chair), internet is patchy which makes the streaming service for movies a bit jumpy.

We stayed one night in the Frew Suite, which was just beautiful. Though the arrival to the property left us wondering what we’d booked, our concerns were quickly set aside. Damon provided an extraordinarily warm and gracious welcome, and introduced us to a spacious and beautifully decorated room and its amenities. Clean, comfortable, beautiful bath products and wonderful tea and coffee. We had dinner at their sister property, as well as breakfast in the morning—both tasty, simple fare.

This would have to be one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in. Ashley met us on arrival and showed us through the property, greeting us with a bottle of bubbly on ice. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Frew Suite and we were wowed by the size of the suite and the amazing decor with the most comfortable bed. I loved the sun room, it was my favourite spot to relax in the afternoon. This place is perfect in every way, from the house (which we were lucky to have all to ourselves on the first night), the location and the staff who made sure everything was perfect. We will be back!
