Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed two nights $15 extra for a couple to have breakfast hot or colder night.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Our room had double glazed windows so street noise wasn’t an issue.
Staff were greatOff street parking and locked gate at night, bonus.

We always stay here as it is close to the medical facilities we stay at. We decided to stay another night and as my husband went to pay another guest was checking in with Emma the receptionist. This guest was rude and abusive towards the staff member. We sore the same guest in the breakfast room the next morning. She was told to see reception about payment for breakfast, she started yelling at the cook. Then we heard yelling from the guest at the manager. She clearly was not happy.
The guest was playing really loud music at 3am and waking the guests up.
Then to top it off on our checkout date she was once again abusive as she couldn't go for a swim at 6.30am in the morning. I really felt for the staff immensley with this fruitloop.
So before you write a review please think before you write, are the staff really at fault here or were you just being rude yourself.

We stayed 3 nights.
Room exceptional, clean and comfortable.
Staff were amazing from management to cleaning staff.
Breakfast was good value.
Jodie, the manager explained the motel thoroughly and the surrounding areas. Mandy and Emma were very helpful and nothing was a hassle. Had an issue with noisy guests and it was sorted straight away. Jodie took the kids down to the pool while i had a rest with a migraine.I was so appreciative as my head was pounding. I can see why families love this place as it is very family friendly. We will highly recommend your motel. Thanks for a beautiful stay.

Thank you for such a lovely review and hope you got over your migraine. The kids were great and had a ball in the pool and were excellent when I explained they had to hop out the pool if I was to attend to reception which they did on few occasions. Have a great trip in Bali, you will absolutely love it. Kind Regards Jodie

We have often stayed here but have noticed that lately the motel and the rooms are a bit run down. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
We had the cooked breakfast each morning which was quite nice but when we asked if it would be possilbe for the eggs eo be scambled the reply was "sorry we don't do scrambled eggs in summer" Though this was an odd reply as they do all other eggs, bacon. tomatos and pancakes...

Thank you for your review. I apologise for the changed breakfast menu. As we only have the 1 cook on each day and we are very busy with breakfast we have catered the menu to poached eggs in our peak times so all customers receive their cooked breakfast in a timely manner. The motel is a 3 star motel and we charge accordingly to the star rating, I certainly don't believe the motel looks run down and I am in the process working with the owners to change the decor in some of the rooms. The rooms are very spacious and very clean and comfortable. Once again thank you for your feedback and we look forward to seeing you soon. Management

I really appreciated the large and comfortable room, and the service from Emma was exceptional. There is a lift to the upstairs rooms and a handy vending machine for drinks and snacks. Location wise, the motel is a 20 min walk to the heart of Glenelg and the beach but there is a bus stop very close to the motel which is a great alternative, and it is about 10 min walk to the City-Glenelg tram. I honestly can't fault the room or the service!

Back again, as it is one of our favourite places to stay. The staff are so helpful and the rates are good. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft instead of being like rocks ars we have had in other places. The room was clean and we had room to take the wheelchair into the bathroom. There was only a continental breakfast but was was great, with cerial, fruit, yogurt, milk, juice, toast and condiments and coffee. It was fantastic and delivered to our room We love this place and would recommend it to everyone

We stayed at this motel late September/October and were greatly surprised.

The rooms were big and spotlessly clean. It had just been refurbished.

The staff are fantastic and happy to help in any way. Really lovely and friendly staff.

Even though a motel they are happy to change your towels at anytime which is great.

I would recommend this motel to anyone visiting Adelaide.
And more than happy to stay here again.

Thank you all who made our stay a happy one.

My wife and I have stayed at this Motel on numerous occasions over the years and have found the staff from Management down to be exceptional in every way. The rooms very clean and quiet. There is even a lift to the first floor and very secure gated parking. They even have a guest laundry near the swimming pool. It is a brisk walk to Glenelg and bus out the front into Adelaide. Might I add that the breakfast is served in the dining area, spotlessly clean. P.S.. Give the pancakes a go, nice, light and fluffy. bacon and eggs lovely and hot. As you can see we are really happy with this Motel and shall definitely stay again and again. Well done to all and will see you next time in Glenelg. Big pat on the back to all the friendly Management and staff. Ring direct for the best pricing.

Regards, Ian & Wendy... (Horsham 3400.).

Stayed 1st time on Thursday 20 June.. Very warm welcome by staff. Got a surprise complimentary room upgrade. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. King bed was to die for comfort and warmth wise.
Return stay today Monday 24th June... again terrific welcome, room upgrade, again beautifully presented and clean.
Would definitely recommend it. The family room is spacious, warm and really comfortable.
Have stayed many places in Glenelg and this is by far the best welcome, value for money, cleanliness, comfort etc. I can NOT find fault.

It's about 1.5kms to the middle of Jetty Road at Glenelg - approx 20 minute walk - scenic route is to cross over Anzac Highway and go down one of the side streets till you get to the tram line and follow that to Jetty Road. Probably ~2km to the Glenelg Beach. There are a good selection of restaurants/supermarkets etc on Jetty Road and in the vicinity. There is a bus stop very close to Adelaide International Motel, which will take you to into Adelaide (CBD) but it could be quicker to walk to the tram stop - I prefer the tram over the bus. It's about 8.5km from the airport to Motel, about 40 minutes on the bus, and the bus runs once an hour (weekends/evenings are another matter). Adelaide doesn't have the greatest public transport system. Not really sure how close the bus drops you to the door. There might be a better option - airport shuttle (?) if one exists, or a taxi.
