Comfy beds, good sized room. The bathroom was updated and had great shower pressure. Air con excellent. The desk and chairs made it easy to get work done. Close to shops and supermarkets. 20 minute easy walk to the beach. Would stay here again.

Older style motel that could do with some tender love and care. Review and pictures mentioned bathroom upgraded, I didn't get this one, in fact I only chose this motel for this reason. Location is very good, no road noise and cleanliness was on point, very important. Can park at door for easy access and beds are nice and new. Be aware you may get an interconnecting room which offers less privacy so follow this up with motel. Lack of power points at bedside but that's usual for old style motel. Under new management at point of writing.

We only stayed 1 night, but we would happily stay longer!
Checkin was fast and very friendly.
Our room was so spacious and spotlessly clean, it had a comfortable sofa and very comfy bed.
Felt extra safe having gates closed each night and can only be accessed with a swipe card.
Close to food, Glenelg and the airport. Highly recommend this motel for a reasonable rate.

Less then 1 km walking to the beautiful Glenelg center, beautiful and comfortable room, swimming pool, and their restaurant nearby. Very kind owner and very quiet area. I would suggest this place for business and for tourism as well.

Only booked a day ahead so may have been given the dregs. Shower room looks dirty with doors which are difficult to open. Has mould on sealing around edges of doors and ripped. Bathroom cupboards are all chipped and broken as is the cupboard holding the TV. One whole top drawer missing. Looks like a broken room. Stains on carpet. Very tired and drab. Spa has a notice on it that it is decommissioned. Don't think this room should be let to tenants.

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed. The room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy and the shower was lovely. Only minutes from the airport . I just wish I had stayed here for the other 2 nights I was in Adelaide but we needed to stay on the northern side of town. Will definitely stay here again. PS Thanks for the beer guys, it went down really well after a really bad day

Stayed for one night. The guy on reception was super friendly and professional. The room was a typical motel room, a bit dated but everything worked well. Comfortable bed, large room. Very good WiFi. Not too far to Glenelg beach, not walking distance.

Room is spacious and clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom has been updated with a shower that. Worked very well.there was a table and chairs and large tv. Unfortunately there was no Foxtel, just free to air tv. All in all would return when next in town for work.

My advice to any traveller is to avoid this motel at all costs! It is a shabby dive of a motel and our experience was awful despite the staff’s best efforts.
The 1st room we were given (rm 31) was infested with ants in large numbers on all furniture and walls, including the bed. When I complained to office staff - they told me ants are common in Adelaide and are everywhere, they stated that they had no other rooms, and that they could not do anything until after their on-site restaurant dinner rush was finished. The office staff were none committal in regards to what and when they would/could do anything in regards to the ants in the room. If I had not have just driven a straight 8 hours from of our home to Adelaide I would have demanded a full refund and found accommodation elsewhere. Later the staff found that they suddenly had a room that was free, which they offered to us. This room (no 22) was ant free, but shabby, and the room's dark blue carpet colour/dye kept transferring onto the bottom of our feet whenever walked bare-footed on it. It also transferred a dark blue permanent stain onto any clothing that had the misfortune to fall onto the carpet.
On day 2 of our stay a motel staff member rented out a room (neighbouring ours) to one of their relative(s)/family friend(s) - who used the room to host a LOUD and boozy all day AND all night party for a large crowd of unruly, obnoxious, drunk "20'something's". When I complained to the motel staff in the office about the ridiculous noise levels and disturbance from the party nothing was done. I later witnessed the same staff member speaking with some of the room’s inhabitants in the motel parking lot about an incident which had occurred at the party and it was clear the staff member knew them all personally. In addition - please note that this hotel is also at least a sweaty 30-40 minute walk to the beach....so do not be seduced by their claim that the motel is a 500 meter walk to the beach.
So based on our 2 day/3 night experience staying at this motel I really would advise that everyone steer clear of this place and book elsewhere. The place really is an embarrassment to the "Comfort Inn Brand" which I have previously stayed in several locations worldwide with satisfaction...until now. This motel was a huge let down to our first trip to the area and I wish I had check further on its reputation before I booked.
