The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly coming around and cleaning up plates. There was a variety of food to select for breakfast and staff were continually refilling the food. It would be great if they had waffles or pancakes at the buffet and muesli to go with the fruit and yogurt. The bacon was fatty but you could easily pull it off. We were here for Mother’s Day and were hoping for some balloons or flowers on the table. Overall we a very good restaurant, I will be back.

Went with a group to see the Toowoomba Gardens and stayed for four nights at Bourke and Wills Hotel. Beds were very comfy and I liked the nice touch of leaving biscuits to have with my cup of tea. The Hotel was central handy to a large shopping centre.
We had breakfast included which was excellent and thanks to the ladies who would get us pancakes on the days that these weren’t on the menu. Our dinners were also included with our bus package and thanks to the chefs for the great meals, especially to Amila for the sensational butter chicken, curried vegies, etc.

This hotel is lovely and the staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, but well designed, no bath or place to hang wet clothes. One of the best aspects was the location. We parked our car and were able to walk everywhere. It was close to shops, heaps of restaurants etc. we had breakfast included, but there were limitations (silly if you ask me). I could only get a coffee or a juice, not both without paying extra and I could only get either a hot or cold breakfast, not aspects of each. Mushrooms were charged as extra. A bit petty (maybe changes based on COVID), but did not detract from the stay and we would go back. We stayed in a Queen room.

I spent 2 nights at the Burke and Wills and enjoyed every moment of it. My room was a single with a view overlooking the car park and part of the main street. The room itself was very comfortable and the bed nice and spacious. The bathroom was on the small side but adequate. Could I suggest a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang things on...a small observation but would make all the difference.
The breakfast room was fantastic, with a fabulous little glassed-in sunroom to eat in, or you could eat inside if preferred. The choice of breakfast was great also. The buffet was wide and varied, with plenty to choose from between hot and cold. My only comment here was that you did need an engineering degree to work the coffee machine, finishing up with cold coffee anyway. I suggest ordering a nice coffee from the barista for an extra $4.
I agree with another trip advisor`s comment, that the dining room for dinner at night did not come up to the standard of the hotel. It was more like a Tavin type of thing, where you had to line up for your meal and then find a place to sit......complete with a keno screen.
I will certainly be staying here again.

This hotel is in a great location for accessing some of the local hot spots. The hotel has had a good renovation. The restaurant attached is fantastic for dinner and the breakfast buffet was worth it. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Toowoomba.

We enjoyed our stay at Burke and Wills , the hotel is well situated in the middle of town. Our checkin was smooth and easy. The hotel was well signed with regards to the Covid Regulations , hand sanitiser thoughout the Hotel and limits of 1 group of people to use lifts at any one time. Our room was a Queen Superior , the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was spacious with a nice hot shower and lovely toiletries. We ate breakfast at the Hotel and the cooked breakfast was delicious. There is a large Shopping centre within 5 minuets walk of the Hotel which has a Woolworths and other popular shops. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Toowoomba.

This hotel in Toowoomba is a grand old hotel which has been modernised recently. The rooms are classically styled and very roomy plenty of modern technology. The hotel room felt like new but had modern classic luxury feel in carpets and enquire. The room was quiet and well heated, it overlooked the roof but was really light when curtains are open. The restaurant downstairs was great even when really busy at dinner and breakfast. We checked out and left the car in the car park while shopping at the close Grand Central shopping centre and main shopping area. We will stay here again definitely when in this area.

This accomodation was arranged for us when my husband had to work in Toowoomba for a few day. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived having suspected that we may have been booked into 'cheap' accomodation. The foyer of the Hotel was beautiful and staff were so welcoming. Our room was not large (being a corporate room) however was big enough for the two of us. Facilities were lovely and everything was clean. We had a small problem with a shower head but staff were apologetic and had it fixed straight away. Everyone was very lovely and the food at the downstairs restaurant was great for our first night there - not knowing the area and arriving late we didn't have time to search around. This hotel is central to everywhere and we were able to leave the car and walk everywhere. So many amazing food places around and lots of places to explore. If we are ever visiting Toowoomba again and arranging our own accomodate, we would stay here again. Thank you so much for a lovely visit.

This is the hotel I choose to stay at when travelling to Toowoomba for work. It has a bit of an old school, country friendliness vibe to it, which I like and everyone at work tells me they had their wedding reception there! The beds are comfortable and the room well set up for a stay of a night or two. The food on site is good pub food. The staff at reception are fantastic and every time I check in they say 'welcome back' which is nice! Hotel is centrally located and has off street parking (at no cost, unlike some of the other hotels in town).

Only stayed for one night, biggest complaint was the breakfast, or more to the point paying for it! I booked 2 adults in a double room with breakfast only to have to pay $20 because, I had only paid for one breakfast....
I pointed out there was no where to change the number of breakfasts on the booking system and I was informed most people are single occupancy so the system only books one!
So watch out for that, $187 for a room and one breakfast for a couple, $207 after breakfast, quite expensive for a hotel with few facilities.
Second and last gripe, black out curtains that have a gap at the bottom and sides or middle aren’t really black out curtains, they still let light in, and being a light sleeper I was awake with the birds at 5am.
Other than that, the rooms are comfy enough and the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at breakfast was nice!
