I contacted the motel via phone and explained our specific needs i.e. elderly parents needing easy shower and room access etc but needing accommodation for 6 adults in total. Kathleen couldn't have been more helpful and guided us re booking the 2 bedroom family unit and a deluxe queen with courtyard access and gave us a better rate than on the various sites. When we arrived they again couldn't have been more helpful and the unit for my parent's in law was exactly as needed - easy walk in from the car, clean, well laid out, walk in shower CLEAN etc, and easy walking distance from our 2 bdrm family unit. The 2 bdrm unit again was CLEAN - great kitchenette with domestic size fridge/freezer, microwave and basic small hotplate and small oven. Plenty of kitchen area. Table and chairs and lounge suite etc. The bathrooms in both mum and dads and our unit were large and easy access walk in showers. The bedrooms in our 2bdm unit had a king size bed in one room and a double (or queen?) and a single in the other room. Everything was clean and plenty of room and car parking right out the front of the units. It is also a great location as within walking distance is McCafe, 63 and various other food places. We would stay there again every time. Something to note - Google Maps and iPhone Maps seem to have satellite issues trying to locate the motel. Sent us up Ruthven Street numerous times incorrectly. Just try searching for McDonalds in that area and once near it you will be able to find the motel. If you are travelling from Brisbane up the range it is just up the top of the range and around the corner to the left. Having said that though as above, it was just great and so good for our situation.

This Motel is easily accessible from the main highway, but in a quiet area.
The receptionist was very polite, friendly and welcoming. She even greeted me by by name before I introduced myself.
The room and the bathroom were both spacious, clean and well presented.
The air con was easy to operate and effective.
Tea and coffee facilities were provided as expected.
Limited cooking facilities were provided for those who need them.
The mini bar had milk and water in it but no beverages.
The TV had a large screen and all of the 60+ channels were listed in the compendium for ease of selection.
The compendium included plentiful information about visiting and eating facilities.
The bed was large and comfortable with extra pillows on it.
A small lounge made TV viewing comfortable too.
Breakfast was available by ordering the night before so you could eat it at any time.
It was reasonably priced too.
Overall, this motel was very good value and highly recommended.
Rates 9 out of 10.

We made a direct booking online and were greeted on arrival by a friendly but very over-zealous temporary Manager, Tanya, who throughout our very short stay, sang her own praises with comparisons as to how a motel and its staff should be managed. This instantly made us feel uncomfortable.

Our room was pleasant though quite dated. Beds dip to one side but are comfy as long as you stay on the upside.

The bathroom is modern and appeared newly renovated however, there seems to be some drainage issues as water continued to pool if showering longer than 1 minute.
There was nowhere to hang the hand towel in the bathroom and face washers were not provided.

The free Wifi connection was good but there were no convenient power points at the desk area to plug into which is frustrating when needing to work.

As it was very hot during our stay, we had hoped to hang out by the pool and enjoy a swim after a day of sightseeing, but the area was unkempt; the lawn was over-grown and the outdoor furniture rusted and placed directly outside someone else's room, so we gave it a miss.

Overall, our stay was OK but we were disappointed, especially given all the rave reviews on other sites. Obviously, we just didn't experience what others did.

We've been going to this Amazing Spot for over 15 years and Love ❤️ it for the Convenience, Cleanliness and Pool.

I will not return here anytime soon though. I phoned the business Thursday, September 7th, 2023 around 6pm and received So Much Abuse and Grief from the woman on the other end of the line. She was Rude, Rushed me and then proceeded to give me some Astronomical Price for 1 nights accommodation.

Sorry, you have a Great Establishment, but Staff like that will Ruin you!

We recently spent two nights here for an event in Toowoomba. Located at the eastern end of town, convenient is travelling from Brisbane. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were accommodating and welcoming. There were no dining facilities available, but several good cafes within a very short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Not sure how you review a hotel when you didn't actually get to stay!
We had to fly to Toowoomba for a family funeral. Booked on line for three nights with no problem. We knew we'd be a late arrival so rang the hotel and was advised 'no problem, the key will be in the box out front'.
Arrived exhausted at 2am after driving through thick fog. Found the box - no key!
Tried ringing the bell, phoning their number, zilch response. Then had to wander around town trying to find somewhere prepared to open at such an hour.
Phoned next day and got a brief apology.
A pity as it looks like a good hotel. Just make sure you confirm a late arrival isn't going to leave you out in the street!

It was very disappointing that we were not given the room we had booked on-line via WOTIF on the 3 June 2015. We had specifically booked and paid for the King Studio Apartment as the photo’s showed a decent kitchenette area which we required. Upon arrival we had been placed in Room 1 which did not have a kitchenette area and did not match with our memory of the view of the room we had booked. (Room 1 is also in the worst part of the motel as it is very noisy from the trucks going by on Cohoe St!!!) We re-checked on-line and then went to the office to make enquiries about the incorrect room. We were told that we had been placed in Room 1 by the owners of the hotel who were presently away overseas. We were told that there were guests in the room we had booked and that it would be vacated the next morning and that we could move into the correct room the next day. As they were not the owners there was not much else that they could do. We were not refunded our money even though we were in a significantly cheaper room. It was very inconvenient for us as we could not settle properly when we arrived and had to “live out” of our suitcases for the first night and which also then caused us a couple of inconveniences. We were moved to the room the next morning and had to wait until about 11 am the next day so one of us had to wait around to do that. We were told by one of the employees (not the people in the office) that this had happened to a few guests recently. The people running the office for the owners were apologetic and gave us some chocolate but really we feel we should have been refunded the money for the first night.

No complaints, older hotel but very clean and comfy beds. Complimentary tea and coffee bar, plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Recommended for an overnight stay. We had two double beds and there is an option to purchase a breakfast box.
