Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice & clean, however no glasses of any description. Managed to get some from staff in the bar, but reluctant to hand overdue to new owners.
No fire alarm! Alarming!
Had what we needed. Small fridge iced up. Toilet paper dispenser no longer in use. Toilet roll on the cistern. Why?

Unfortunately wasn’t what we expected. Facilities in room/bathroom poor. Shower rails pulled off wall leaving steel pieces (where the rails had been) poking out of wall. Curtains looked like sacks. Aircon very noisy. Room needed a good paint and reno.
On the up side - the bed was comfy and king size. Towels and bedding clean.
There is a kettle and coffe/tea station and small fridge. The tv is on top of the wardrobe.
The stairwell had loose and broken tiles and looked like it needed a good clean.
The staff were very friendly.

The rooms smelled, the air con didn't work, the light on the bed didn't work, the light switch in the bathroom was broken of the wall and was considered dangerous. We booked 9 rooms and all had problems. One even had a water leak and there was a cockroach running over the pillows. They charge you the credit card fee also when you pay. We wont be staying there again. Also there is no soap or shampoo just some frothy stuff that you use for everything. Very average. One positive is the staff member who tried to assist with this.

This dump is the worst ‘motel hotel’ we have ever been to and would warn everybody to keep away

We were battling to find a park so had to stay in the car park outside the hotel. The room was revolting. The electric blanket was on the bed but did not work. The room had a horrible musty smell. There was a fluoro light attached to the bed head and it flickered all the time. The air conditioner did not work. No bedside lamps or power points We noticed spots on the pillow slip and suspected it might be blood. It was all over the pillow. Made us feel sick. We arrived late afternoon and didn’t need a shower that day. The next afternoon we wanted a shower but there was no hot water at all. So had to wash in cold water. Nobody cared less and there was nobody available to rectify our complaints. The day we arrived we ordered lunch, ‘rissoles’ and veg. We couldn’t eat the rissoles. They had no taste and were made from sausage mince. The meat (if it was meat😩 tasted revolting and a whitish colour. We were ‘lucky’ to find the managers who denied it was sausage meat and told us she would speak to the chef and get back to us. Never saw them again. Lastly, the majority of rooms were occupied iby what appeared to be welfare recipients with mental health and drug addiction problems. We saw a drug deal happening in the car park. Occupants day and night were yelling out, banging on doors, swearing and was quite frightening.

Hope this helps unsuspecting future guests. Would prefer to rate this place -100 but can only rate from 1 upwards

Great pub with good value country meals. Staff are friendly and really help the place.
We stayed overnight and the room was comfy, we are aware the renovations are in progress and we can't wait to see the results.
The owners are friendly down to earth people, disregard the Victorian yuppie reviews who always whine about not being as wonderful as Victoria and want something for nothing it's a good place.

Booked online, wont do this again. Very expensive. Charged $198.00 for 3 beds, floors and bathroom not clean, found last tenants earplugs on the floor. 🤔. Owners very rude. Hotel staff tried there best. Very tacky. To top things off was the drug deal going on in the motel carpack. Will not be going back.

Had dinner and a few drinks at the shamrock. The food was very well priced and , more importantly, very well cooked. Great value.
A special mention to Leanne who was operating the bar. Great personality, and great service. You’re a credit to the hospitality industry.

The room was filthy. Hand prints all over the walls and ceiling. Might be pregnant/contracted something from sitting on the couch in the room. The shower wasn’t working properly in any of the few rooms that myself and my party had booked - to a point where standing in the rain and bathing would have been more helpful. 0.5 out of 10, do not recommend.

Had meal here whilst staying in Toowoomba, the food was first class, the service first class. We had two more meals here and they were just as good. Would recommend this establishment for great food at reasonable prices. The staff are very proud of their product and treat the customers as they expect to be treated. 100% great establishment - Enjoy
