I was met by a very friendly face, was told I had been upgraded, had a quick chat, got my milk and headed to my executive room and I must say my stay was lovely. The room was very homely, bed was ultra comfy, great pillows, couch was comfy, little table and chairs. So thank you for breaking my long journey and I will definitely be back! :-)

Stayed here 9 days- nice clean place great staff - enjoy the breakfast- consisted of either toast or cereal mixed fruit orange juice tea or coffee- central to shops- had the use of washer and dryer- would stay here again next time in Toowoomba-

Everything was nice about this place except the water pressure in the shower. A watering can would have had better hot water pressure. The location was great, nice welcoming staff, nice clean rooms, plenty of space in the room, places to eat nearby, on Ruthven Street, the main street, which is a very long street. It even included a light continental breakfast with home made jam’s available in the price of the room. Sad that hot water was an issue.

Older property, but well maintained. A slight smell of bleach when we walked in, but not overpowering. On the New England Hwy, but with the Toowoomba bypass, it was local traffic only and not a problem, even for this light sleeper. If it's a concern, ask for a room at the rear of the property. Good Wifi, and breakfast included. (cereals, juice, tea, coffee) The pool and BBQ area were closed, so I can't comment there. Didn't use the TV either. Queen bed was comfortable, not sagged or too hard for us. USB chargers on the bedlamps are a welcome addition. A table in the room would be useful. Other than that, no suggestions. Our next stay in Toowoomba will be there.

Spotlessly clean. economical with breakfast included as a bonus. Room was comfortable and everything very clean. 300 metres to takeaway shops and an IGA supermarket. Would definately stay here again. Highly recommend.

Non-existent customer service! Was actually quite shocked. ZERO smiles... I am not sure what the staff here are going through, but they all look completely miserable! Got a sharp one word answer when I tried to make small talk. Would not recommend because we were made to feel like imposters, not the valuable clients who are paying their wages. Room was clean & just what you'd expect from a budget motel.

Checked in yesterday with my 10 year old son. Upon entering the room it just stunk. I can’t even describe the smell but they must have used a bottle of air freshener to try and deter the stench. Had to check in down the road at City Golf Motel which for $45 more was so far above Riviera standards. Highly recommend there. Told the reception at Riviera about how we couldn’t stay in the room and just got an ‘oh’ response. No apology, no offer to reimburse any money. Don’t waste any of your hard earned money staying here.

Sorry to hear you you had this experience. We did not find any strange smell in the room. The chemical we use for cleaning does have a slight smell (as do most chemicals) but not to the extent to which you mention.

Clean and tidy a little old but still a nice place. Close to all amenities got a little noisy as right on the main road out of Toowoomba heading South. The office staff were very helpful and checked me in promptly. Great places to eat close by and good value for money.

Had booked a room for my son and his partner and there daughter. When I booked, I had told a very pleasant gentleman that my son was driving down from Central Queensland so would be getting in late.Had a very rude lady on the phone not once but three or four times asking when he would arriving.I had told her that I was on my way and going to come in collect the keys and pay for his room.She was extremely rude ...I will not be back again neither will any of our family.

Thank you for taking the time to post. Reception does contact guests at around 7.30pm to check on arrival times as our reception does close at 8pm daily. If another call was made to you it must have been very close to 8pm and we were about to close our reception. This is the only time we give a second call. If more than 2 calls were made then the calls must not have been answered. We do advise when we contact for arrival time of our closing time and if payment was to be made and key collected that this should be done prior to 8pm.

Stayed here one wet, cold Toowoomba night. Very dated. Had to turn air conditioner/heater off as it set up a vibration in the windows which made it hard to sleep. Vibrations from the room next door continued throughout the night. Not cheap.
