Accommodation was very clean and very close to major shopping complex which was so convenient. Even though the motel was located right next to a major road in Toowoomba, it was surprisingly quiet. Will definitely recommend to anyone.
Clifford gardens motor inn. Recently my wife and I stayed at the Clifford gardens motor inn. Upon arrival the owner was warm and friendly. The accessible room we were given was reasonable and well kept and reasonably priced. The owner and his wife were very accommodating and whenever they saw us, they would always check to see if we needed anything and even offered access to Apple TV for the duration of our week long stay. Upon leaving on the last day ,the owner asked if my wife and I could suggest anything that would improve the rooms. These are my suggestions. In the the accessible room I would suggest the following . >a lowered bench. I would also suggest that both beds either have lockable casters. >The double bed should be a little lower with power points placed above both side tables. >The main dinner table should be a bit taller and should have a cut out to accommodate a wheelchair. >Their also needs to be a small two seater couch as it is difficult to sit up in bed and watch tv if you have issues with posture and back pain. I also think that it would a good option to have one of the on-site short - medium stay apartments / units made accessible. This would enable those with physical disabilities or ambulatory issues to opt for something bigger then a hotel or motel room if they are needing to stay for a week + or have family staying. This also gives disabled guests and friends or family the option of cooking meals and sleeping in seperate rooms. Overall though I can’t fault the Clifford gardens motor inn and I highly recommend that people stay their. Please support these guys as their home style down to earth friendly country service is something you’ll never get at a big hotel or chain/ franchised accommodation. If I ever got the chance to stay their again I would.I would certainly recommend it as an ideal place for a couples getaway or family holiday.…
Very friendly and helpful managers, was a very pleasant stay. Beds very comfortable, shower was very nice with plenty of water pressure Room very spacious, our room had 3 beds as we had 3 adults……………………
We had been on a road trip so stayed at many locations. From our very warm welcome from Dave, our room was very spacious and super clean with very comfy beds and superb pillows. We dined at a local pub, the Stock Hotel. Just a short from motel and food was great. Lots of variety and not over priced. Will definately stay there again. Lyn & Paul
Dave and his team are easy to deal with. They are all friendly. They made sure that my special request was accommodated too. Also, the room itself is very spacious, and the bed linens and towels are all clean. We have a comfy night and wonderful stay there.
Highly Recommended. This is definitely a place I would come to again if I'm in the area. The room, although not brand, new was excellent due to the very spacious room, bathroom and shower. The queen bed and pillows were good quality and very comfortable (my room also had a single bed). It had everything you need in the kitchen and was directly opposite a large shopping centre. Because I had a longer stay, I was given an Apple TV to use which was greatly appreciated. The management were very helpful and obliging and spent some time sorting out a technical difficulty with the internet. I was also allowed a late checkout due to my work circumstances. Once again, this is a great place to stay.
Recently had an overnight stay at this place! We knew previous owners hence we booked but the new owners had already taken over. New owners were welcoming and had very friendly chat at check in. Room was huge, very clean and facilities in unit were fine. We had pre arranged dinner for that evening but the location is very handy to a shopping centre and various food outlets. Ideal place to stay and noise was not an issue either.
We love staying here Frank and Ronnie are always friendly and accomodating for our stay. Love the location and we can just walk across the road to Clifford Gardens shopping centre. Always clean and tidy and rooms always smell fresh.
Great rooms, lots of space, nice comfortable beds, very clean, friendly staff, very friendly owns. I stay there all the time when I’m in Toowoonba, close to a shopping centre walking distance just across the road .
We enjoyed our stay the rooms are big and spacious and we got there early and we got in straight away shops are close everything within walking distance we were really happy with our stay and will be going back cheers Elizabeth and David
