My friend and I have been travelling for 3 months now and stayed in many motels and hotels along the way. This motel was by far the cleanest accomodation to date, surpassing hotels that we paid twice as much for. Not only that but the attention to detail was fantastic. The place presented well from the outside and the rooms was equally appealing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

3 of us stayed here, late booking, dint plan to stay here at first but got stuffed around by another motel so late booking, one single room and a twin room. So pleased we did get to stay here as it is so so tidy, modern and well kept. Large rooms, all amenities, great water pressure. And as a bonus very good restaurant where we ate. Will cheerfully stay here again!

Well done, this is the best accommodation I've stayed at in Mount Isa. I've stayed here 3 times in the past 5 months and I'll definitely be back. The cleanliness is impeccable and the comfort of the bed omg! When you check in you get a small cheese platter, I thought this was such a lovely gesture and then to find home baked cookies in the room ...... well you've won me over, it really is the little things that make your stay feel like home!!

Looking for well maintained and comfy room for a night or 2 then the Outback Motel will not disappoint. Rooms clean, amenities great, has a licences restaurant and the owners are awesome and make you feel at home. Had their Stone Baked Pizza last night which was so good and then a beautiful breaky this morning. Our second stay here and it will not be our last, highly recommend and value for money.

Highly recommended accommodation in Mt Isa. The make receptionist is very friendly and accomodating. I stayed here with my hubby for two days. After checking in we were given a small platter with few biscuit, slices of cheese sultanas and dried apricots. It was a nice surprise. The room was very clean and tidy. Very spacious. Tea and coffee provided and disposable cutlery and plates provided. There’s a swimming. Not far from the shopping centre and eating place and PUB. I really enjoyed my stay in this place.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was clean and tidy, the beds comfortable. Nicely made up every day. The cups/crockery etc were disposable, but the "real stuff" was available at reception. Bit weird the handbasin/mirror was located outside the bathroom. We had room service breakfast on one of the days. Reasonable, tasty, the coffee (cappuccino) was actually rather good. The location was quite close to the main centre of town and easily walkable.

We were pleasantly surprised by this motel, it was very clean, comfortable bed and a double shower!!! I was in love!, No fighting over who was having first shower. We had a chat with our neighbours about the safety of our vehicle as they stayed there regularly. They told us to not leave anything in our car in sight as they had seen opportunist thieves trying car doors, even trying their room door, I know this happens in most towns but we had no problem in the 4 nights we stayed. My only problem was that I got cold at night and there were no extra blankets and on our last night one of our neighbours had a Pitt Bull Dog tied up to their car and it barked quite a bit, so not much sleep that night 😪 The lady in reception was so lovely, thank you so much Terri, we will definitely be back next time.…
