    The Alara Motor Inn staff are dedicated to providing you with exceptional, friendly service ensuring you an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The Alara Motor Inn is located 3 minutes’ drive from the heart of Mackay on the main thoroughfare of Nebo Road (Highway 1). There are 41 ground floor units at the Alara Motor Inn. Every room features a queen size bed, air conditioning, 32" Plasma TV with 16 HD Foxtel channels as well as complimentary Wifi. Each room has a microwave, fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board as well as tea and coffee making facilities and covered parking. All units are non-smoking. The onsite pool is available for guest use all year round. Sea Winds Restaurant is open Monday - Thursday evenings serving homemade hearty meals. Please don’t hesitate to chat to us on arrival and we will do our best to accommodation any and all special requests. Room Service breakfast is available daily.
