When I stay in Mackay, which I do often, this is like a home away from home. Very Comfy bed, good size room, great food and service. Very little traffic noise. Good TV and internet. Always look for a room here.

We had a lovely 4 days here it was wonderful the room was clean overlooking the pool with balcony the staff were all friendly especially Ann and Mei so great to have the restaurant on site we will be back and have recommended this wonderful place to everyone see you next year cheers Joey

Disappointing experience. Would recommend looking elsewhere. I booked this hotel for an overnight stay on a road trip to Brisbane. Due to bushfires, the Bruce Highway was closed and my arrival delayed. The office phone number went to a message bank, despite the pre-recorded message saying the opening hours were till 9pm and I was calling before this time. My wife ended up finding an after hours number to get the late checking details. Suggest the message be updated. Room was poor quality. After the long drive, I wanted to chill with some tv before bed. However, the TV in the room didn’t work, I suspect it may have just been flat batteries in the remote. This is something that ought to be checked and reception was closed due to my late arrival. Whilst the room was largely clean, the bathroom was not the same. There was mould in the shower, and the toilet seemed to keep running. The only positive I have from this stay was the comfortable bed.…

Had a lovely 12 night stay, our room was a lovely poolside room with a balcony & very comfortable & spacious. Housekeeping serviced the room daily & all staff were always friendly & helpfull. Onsite restaurant had good quality food but does need more vegetarian choices. Location was perfect & convenient to everywhere. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely choose Coral Cay again. 😀

Excellent service accommodating my wife myself and our three little dogs the room was great and the small grass area for the dogs is a nice touch.staff were great and pointed out the availability of room service from the restaurant because of the dogs.

Situated on the motel strip, close to CBD, the unit was clean, the staff were courteous and friendly . The Restaurant on site was very ambient and the the food and menu choice was outstanding . The prices were comparable to what you would pay elsewhere

We only stayed 1 night on our way south. The large motel room was very clean and comfortable. The check in process was easy and welcoming. We had the most delicious dinner in the motel restaurant, with great service.

The staff was great and friendly the room was great the only thing was that when I booked I asked if we could have a bottom floor room which they said yes but when we arrived it was a top floor room any other time would not of been a big deal but I had a fractured shoulder when we visited admin was very apologetic when I checked in which made it a bit harder for my wife but everything else was great. Will definitely stay again Thanks

Had a fur baby with us so the room was very convenient for us. Could have used a little cutlery/crockery but understand that they have a lovely restaurant on site but were booked out the night we stayed. Matching wine glasses would have been nice too. The staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome.

Greeted with a very welcome not only to the Motel but the general area. The lady behind the desk had lots of ideas on what to see and do. My room was larger than expected, very clean and far enough from the main road not to hear the traffic noise. Would stay again if I’m eve back in Mackay.
