Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having been here twice before I was happy to rebook for this holiday, however, I was left disappointed. The lounge in the unit was stained and saggy. The blinds in the bedroom were filthy, the bin was dirty/rusty and the balcony had not been swept and had weeds. Oh, and there was only one teaspoon. We asked to be moved to a different apartment, which they did without fuss. That unit was OK. I think the apartment complex is being looked after by someone who just doesn't care - they do their job but nothing more. Very much in need of some TLC. There are plenty of places to stay on the Gold Coast, so we won't be returning to this one.

The ‘superior’ room we paid for had not been renovated as advertised and did not reflect any of the photos on the web site. Furniture was old, mismatched and filthy. Bathrooms were mouldy and dirty. Main bathroom shower screen was missing the door. Walls were dirty. Air conditioning barely cooled the room even after the filters were cleaned. Fans were dusty and ineffective. Would not recommend this hotel at all. The only positive comment I can leave this hotel is the beds were comfortable.

Unit 6 wheelchair friendly unit - dust laden fans in bedrooms and bathroom vent in ceiling, Shower in the ensuite continually leaking and kitchen sink tap sprays everywhere and broken handles on the dishwasher making it hard to open. . Dried potato chip and dust behind the TV unit in the lounge room. Sheer curtains on the balcony door black and mouldy looking and no sheers on the bedroom so the sliding door/windows and curtains remain closed due to facing the main road. Housekeeping really needs to pick up to bring this back to par. Spoke to the Jason and cleaning is coming in on 7/11 to attend to the fans and bathroom vent. Foxtel has to be accessed manually as TV remotes are not working. We have been here coming since, I believe 2014 bi annually, for the Pan Pacific Masters games, referring many folk we know to stay here, and talk amongst other competitors is that a lot of other accomodation is the same. What was a good price and accomodation for 9 - 11 days is now pricey and a 2 -3 star property. During Covid a lot of participants lost deposits etc and those that didn't have a lesser quality of accommodation and it is the same , in most cases, where they stopped prior to covid so it is a fair comparison. It is looking like we might stay elsewhere in 2024 and save at least $1,000 in doing so..

apartment was dirty. Sheets were clean but mattresses protector was dirty and stained. Dining chairs were broken and unable to be used. Sofa needed replacing as sagging and smelt like dog. No furniture on balcony so was unable to be used unless you wanted to drag out indoor furniture. I stayed at this complex a few times before Covid and never had any issues until now. Won’t be returning until they pick up their game

No air conditioning except for 1 small unit in the lounge room. The ancient ceiling fans in the bedrooms only worked on one speed and they grind very loudly all the time. There is a colony of fruit bats roosting outside the bedroom windows. So we had to move all the mattresses into the living room to sleep on the floor. The bedroom windows don't function because the $2 rollers have worn out long ago. The main shower was unusable because the $30 shower head is broken beyond use. The hot water is virtually non existent in the ensuite shower because when we turned on the cold water it instantly shuts of the hot water flow. Beds were old and on the hard side. The ensuite toilet was adrift from the floor. The TV only works through the Foxtel box. No direct connection to the antenna so we couldn't get Netflex to work. There is no recycling system or facilities at all. We had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get from the carpark to the 2nd floor room. And to top it all off we were charged $152 a night when we booked online only to discover when we checked in that the rate is only $100/night. Management said a refund was out of the question. So we will never stay there again. In fact I'll never stay in privately owned managed apartments again. In my experience owners and body corporates never like spending money on even necessary repairs. Unlike motels where there reputation relies on it.

Good location. Had a recently renovated apartment which was nice. Arrived on Saturday after midday and reception is closed until Monday morning - very frustrating!!! Had an issue with our room, the phone gets redirected to an external answering service, so by the time that person contacted the manager who then contacted the person on site it was a good half hour!!! No point ringing for extra towels, there's no-one there to assist. As a family we don't always want to do things together. I needed to go to the shops and the rest of the family go to the beach, but we've only got ONE set of keys. Rang the answering service of course no-one can help until Monday!!! This is ridiculous and totally puts a stop to our plans!! In peak summer holiday season reception should be open 7 days!! Will never stay here again. Also the pool area is uninviting, my kids refused to swim in the pool, lucky the beach is close .

A great family hotel. We had a two bedroom apartment with full cooking facilities & Foxtel. Hundred metres to the beach. It was comfortable & easy to drive to all Gold Coast attractions. Very good value for money

Close walking distance to partrolled beach. Swimming pool should be bigger - have the space Well maintained grounds Beautifully decorated apartment Perfect side access for elderly mother who doesn't like steps. The bedroom fans: I hope they go faster as in the warmer months these would be hopeless. The second bedroom: security screen is not secure anyone could slide and enter your apartment - this needs to be rectified ASAP, an intruder could easily access! Price is value for money

this hotel is rubbish, i visited with my family for a few days, in the photos it looked amazing but when we got there it was absolutely trash, floor was dirty, beds were uncomfortable, toilets were bad, service is horrible, and way too many rules for the pool. this is unfair to children and to family’s, i don’t recommend this hotel
