We are members of a travel club and used to stay at a nearby resort not realizing this was owned and operated by the travel club of which we are members. We elected to stay in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit which was located on the 10th floor overlooking Coolangatta beach with unobstructed views. The unit and available facilities far outweigh the nearby place where we have stayed previously. Also all the shops etc, including the beach, are all within easy walking distance.
Also, as members of the travel club, the price we paid was much cheaper than what we previously paid (and this is during NSW school holiday period).
Would not hesitate staying here again and no problem recommending the place.

We have been going to the Beachcomber for many years now. Have had no problems so far. The end rooms on each floor, A and E have almost 360 degree views from their two verandahs. Only a few hundreds meters to the water, Lots of eateries nearby.

Conveniently located and clean . Great spot to rest and take it easy or engage in all the activities this part of the coast has on offer.
Check in was problematic as there was no street parking available and no opportunity to enter the car park until we had checked in. Fortunately , we had a friend who was able to commence the process of check in while we were instructed to wait in a 'loading zone ' behind the hotel which caused issues when a truck approached requiring this space to unload . We were then forced to circle the block until we got card access to the carpark. Not a great start to a relaxing break after a 4 hour drive!
The facilities were appropriate for our needs, washing machine and dryer, cooking facilities and quiet location considering it was on a busy thoroughfare !
On our 4th night we unfortunately had the interruption of a fire alarm at midnight to which we took the appropriate action and filed out on to the street via the stair well with other guests and awaited further instruction. We were surprised to receive no such instruction after what seemed a lengthy wait for the fire brigade . Communication was truly a bit haphazard that night . i.e. there was none. We all worked it out for our selves!
Trivia and raffle evening was indeed a bit of fun. The very engaging hostess Sharyn was a delight and this establishment is very fortunate to have her!
We have travelled alot around the world and apart from a couple of hiccups , Beachcomber provided a very restful break for us for a week.

Beautifully clean room with excellent outlook. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Sharon was informative and always has time to interact with guests and kids. Pancake breakfast on Wednesday was lovely, the spa and rooftop pool so amazing at sunset. The BBQ facilities were clean and great. The kitchen is full stocked with utensils and all you need with a full stove and cooktop and microwave. Handy walk to the local supermarket and beach, onsite parking. Wonderful stay!

Nice accommodation, friendly staff nice facilities and close to beach and eateries. Parking is a problem if you have more than vehicle. Roof top spa is lovely but pools are not heated and may be a little cool for most people's liking. Very little shade in the roof top pool so so be careful. Overall very clean and well maintained property. Underground parking is tight , so large vehicles are a problem.

We enjoyed our stay here we wanted a relaxing holiday as we had very sore backs and wanted to go home feeling recharged. We were able to do that here you had everything very handy, beaches, movies, shopping, sightseeing, all here you can walk to so many places, you don't need a car. We just love Coolangatta.

We stayed for the week and had great weather and a fantastic relaxing holiday. The units are spacious and clean. Bed are comfortable and the location quiet at night. The units are a little older but are clean and tidy. Very close to what we think is one of the best beaches in Aussie as well as to restaurants, clubs and shopping.

We have been lucky staying here the last few days ( and untill friday)
Staff have been super friendly and always smiling and helpful. Our little miss was so excited to win the blue bunny she wanted in the games room, and couldn't wait to show the lady in reception.
Even though it is a little older style, its feels so much more like home and we will deffently be back for sure. !
Big thanks for all the stuff avalible to borrow, we got to take sand toys and body boards today! Was muchly appreciated. You guys are doing a great job!

Old but refurbished. Lovely staff. Good range of facilities - table tennis, pool table, 1/2 tennis, pools. It’s a street back from ocean but it’s a Great position behind strand shopping centre. We have been returning here most years over the last 5 yrs and we’ll probably continue to do so in future.

Beachcomber is on the road behind the road opposite the beach. Some units have a view of the sea. I don't know why the map positioning is incorrect.

Yes but only 100mb max. I paid $5 per day for unlimited. If you have an internet thumb-drive it may be more convenient to take that with you.
