Paid for a Deluxe King Suite (breakfast included) - was great value. Separate lounge with dining table and chairs, separate working desk and chair; microwave and fridge, cutlery etc. No water jug – had to buy a bottle of water to store in the fridge. Could have bought it downstairs at the vending machine. Tea and coffee making facilities, no coffee pod machine, no biscuits. Balcony with table and chairs. King bed. Bathroom and bedroom had real doors, not noisy sliding doors (my pet hate). Shower had hand-held shower head as well as a rainshower. Water pressure excellent. Shampoo, conditioner and body lotion provided. Great lighting arrangement for the bathroom – option to turn on nightlight; plus the switch was on the inside of the bathroom (always a plus). TVs in both loungeroom and bedroom. An outstanding feature was that breakfast started at 5:30am (Qld time); a bonus for us because we are early risers. Excellent breakfast with many many options, anything you could think of for breakfast really. Small bar in the foyer with happy hour prices which is great for a pre-dinner drink. Easy access from the lobby across the walkway to the Twin Towns complex, which had several dining choices. Dining was a bit cafeteria style, with no waiter service to take your order – all food and drinks had to be ordered at the relevant counter. Best choice was the Orient – crispy beef with plum sauce – outstanding.

We stayed two nights in a King Suite on a flex rate with included breakfast in August 2023. The room was very spacious with a large patio slding door opening up on to a balcony with views across to Twin Towns and the Tweed River. A small kitchenette is in the room with microwave and some basic utensils.
The room was clean and bed firm / comfortable.
Bathroom was good with plenty of bench space on a long vanity top, the shower was very good with no door and a side screen only - care needed to avoid splashing water outside of the shower recess.
Car parking is free in the basement car park which also serves the adjacent twin towns resort, there is a bit of a walk to check in as you need a swipe card to access the hotel lifts (which you don't have until checked in of course).
Overall, we were very happy with our room choice and would certainly stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights at Sebel Twin Towns in Coolangatta. The rooms were spacious, balcony great and lifts were quick. The buffet breakfast changed daily, food was fabulous, chefs omellette yum and the freshly cooked pancakes were amazing. Staff were very good, removing used plates quickly. The pool was ok but the heavy plastic lane marker made it difficult to get in deeper pool for an elderly lady like me. The sun lounges are hard plastic and very low to ground, again hard to get in or out of. There were 2 negatives for us and that was the housekeeping in room did not attend til after 2pm and sometimes nearly 5pm so that was not a suitable time for guests staying longer stays. The other issue was there are steps or a steep incline to walk down to street level. For people with mobility issues this is not great.
I definitely enjoyed our stay and spent a lot of time at the club next door. Food was great and entertainment on everynight.
Fabulous stay and will return.

Umpteenth stay at The Sebel and another goodie. Check in was fine and much much better than the one three years ago where hopefully the managers have been let go!
Checked in on the Friday and the grandchild saw a sign talking about complimentary things. Off he went and ended up with a choc ice, sweets, and other things. Naturally this Scotsman didn't see it and off we went. Looked for it the following day and it was only Fridays... rats. What was that circular thing in front of reception? Could we have won a couple of free nights? Daughter booked through Accor, we booked through Hotels.com.
Brilliant breakfasts is one of the things we tell all our pals (two of them) about and lots of them have booked The Sebel because of our recommendations (sook sook: free night?) and I left a review on the Sanctuary Cove site telling them to follow The Sebel because theirs was cauld. First morning.... aaaargh.... the breakfast was (mainly) cold. Next two mornings were back to the usual so it was probably just a misdemeanour. The waitresses were as usual brilliant.
I think we must have been "upgraded" because we always book the twin rooms as they always have an ocean view at the front (I do usually ask for a front ocean view but didn't this time). This time the room was a massive and 56m2 which is the size of the deluxe king (haven't found this room on any of the web pages). It was room 422 incidentally. The view was at the back looking over Twin Towns and the Len Evans Harbour but it was fine. I notice that all the deluxe twin rooms aren't ocean views incidentally.
We had the room cleaned each day which I'm sure was unusual as we always thought there was no room cleaning if less than four days... maybe because it was a deluxe.
Daughter and her two sprogs had room 416 and it was, as usual, excellent, although we offered to change with our big yin but they preferred the ocean view.
No idea why but the Friday night was around $350 while the Sunday was only $180. There didn't seem to be any reason for it as it's not holidays or any big time band playing. A week later we would have saved $300. Rats again.
Indoor pool - great, putting - great, outside pool - great, Reception great and it was terrific that there weren't millions of coppers complete with guns milling about reception this time. There were two but I didn't see guns so maybe they've been told not to.

Thank you for providing feedback on your stay, I'm sorry to hear you missed out on your Friday Afternoon tea for Accor members, you are correct in noticing that not all our twin rooms face the ocean, some do face the harbour, please feel free contact the hotel directly on your next stay and we will happily allocate a more desired outlook.

What sort of a hotel are these two? Essentially both of these hotels are a Services Club with Accor rooms rather than a true Accor Hotel. You will find your Accor card to be of NO value after you book in. The bar and restaurant in the foyer look like Accor Hotel facilities but NO, they are part of the Twin Towns Services Club. Indeed, Happy Hour is for Service Club members only, not Accor members. No drink discounts or 50% discount for any meals for Accor members. Full price for Accor members. In the rooms you will find the internet to be very substandard and you will watch the endless twirling circle on your screen. Staff suggested your personal phone data was much better, and it was. The Hotels were disappointing, hence two stars for the Hotel and nothing else provided. If you will be staying for a period, I would strongly suggest the Salt Hotels at Kingscliff which we have thoroughly enjoyed previously. You get dining discounts there.

Thank you for your feedback, as listed on our Accor website we do note that there is no Accor discount as we do not have an Accor managed food and beverage outlet, you will find this with many Sebel, Mantra and Peppers properties throughout Australia. I'm sorry to hear that this impacted your stay, however our as you mentioned our sister properties at Kingscliff do have these features and have the ability to offer the discounts

We were on a low floor but still had a seA view. Would've liked to be higher up though and it would've been better. Rooms are really nicely appointed and have great USB connection, TV connectivity and lighting. Lovely showers. Dual shower heads: use one, the other or even both! Nice products in larger bottles that all elt nice, were good quality and cuts down on plastic waste. Literally one street away from one of the best beaches on the Gold Coast as far as I am concerned. Access to the beach is at the Greenmount end so a good shelving beach for kids and patrolled with a nice wide swimming area and some depth for grown up swimmers. It's great. At the hotel, the facilities are all excellent although the outdoor pool could've been bigger when designed (so a bit late for that). Lots of people having a good time though and a little putt-putt golf course for the kids. In the room we had two queen sized beds and a kitchenette that would do most things (no toaster and limited equipment) a word on the tea mugs - they were the size of large thimbles and that was a problem for me but I made up for that at breakfast time. The pillows were plentiful but terribly poor quality. That let this really nice room and comfy beds down a bit. Small balcony buy enough to enjoy the view either on it or through the big glass windows...great light blocking curtains. Tea and I start coffee etc provided. It there's a 7-11 across the road as well as a bottle shop to get stuff in. The included breakfast was really good. Get a fresh omelette or nicely runny yolked fried or poached eggs plus good quality sausages, bacon, great and crisp hash browns and yummy mushrooms. Big cups of tea and proper coffee. There was everything else you'd want too. Couldn't fault it. You can be admitted until 10.30 but if you leave it that late they'll kind of jostle you out a bit. On the first day I was literally left with my fork in hand as my plate was taken away. That said, go too early and it's too busy. We found 9.40 a sweet spot on our second morning. We had a great time. You are connected to a second hotel and to the Twin Towns Club with all its pokies and multiple restaurants plus shows. Their restaurants come with 'mixed reviews'. A lovely time was had and every staff member I interacted with was totally helpful and charming. A good place to stay with two nights just shy of $600 (in a room that could've slept 4!)

The hotel has been recently renovated (including the bathrooms) and before booking I was concerned about noise from the nearby airport however that wasn’t an issue. Our booking included buffet breakfast, which was nice as that seems less and less common these days. If I was to visit the area again, I would consider other accomodation options. Whilst not bad, the bed only had a blanket (no doona) and I was cold at night. That quality of bedding was below my expectations of a room close to $300 per night.

Stayed for a week to get away. After reading some reviews we chose here (thank you trip advisor). A good decision. Reasonable rates, clean and comfortable rooms, staff very pleasant and friendly. The supplied breakfast was fantastic. The location was ideally placed for everywhere we wanted to go and is a very short walk across the road to the beach. There are numerous dining options on site (which are very good) and numerous nearby. The only reason we haven't given 5 stars is that the television reception was deplorable. Staff did try to have technicians fix the problem, but it continued to exist. If we could give 4.9 stars we would.

Booked the Sebel for four nights to check in on my mother in the Tweed. Rooms looked brand new and had a lovely view towards Coolangatta beach. Good size and very airy. No restaurant on site for lunch/dinner but very central to Coolangatta shops and eateries and the Tweed Mall. Breakfast was above generous. Pancakes or omelettes cooked while you waited and huge hot and cold buffet as well. Only negative was every table we sat at was very sticky. Would go back in a second and could happily base myself there for a couple of weeks. Nice outdoor and indoor pool and gym. Mini golf was a bit of fun too.

We stayed at this property recently as part of an Accor Plus package deal and it was nice. The room was large and well appointed. It looked to have been updated recently. TV was fantastic with HD and Foxtel. Nice views and an easy covered walk to the Twins Towns club.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We travel for approximately a third of the year and get to experience many breakfast areas and this buffet was up there with the best. Food quality and range was fantastic and the staff in the breakfast area were professional and friendly.
The only negative part of our stay was the check-in process. There were four staff on the front desk and we were the only ones checking in and it still took them nearly a full hour. There were problems with what was included with our package and a clear lack of skill, knowledge and professionalism was on show from all four. It was only after we insisted on speaking to the manager that they started to deliver any form of service. Clearly more training is needed in that area but after check-in we didn't need to deal with them as the bar and breakfast area is staffed by Twin Towns employess rather than Sebel staff.
