Garden room was good compared to the rooms at the front of the building. The rooms are dated but adequate enough. Beds clean and reasonably comfortable. The internet is woeful with little to no service. Parking is problematic, I had to park in the adjacent parkland which I wasn’t comfortable with as I had a fully loaded car and was concerned re security. The property is by no means a resort, this claim is false and misleading.

A great location in walking distance to the shops, Main Street Coolangatta and beach. Our room on the 3rd floor was clean & an OK size. We stayed for a week so were given clean towels daily & bins emptied.

The main concern was the lack of car parking space as there are less parks than rooms so sometimes you may need to park on the street. For a few days no cars moved in the main car parks so their was no chance of getting one.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions and found it to be a good Motel. Staff are great, parking ok, WiFi good, rooms adequate, tv good and the pool a bonus. No traffic noise, good outlook over the adjoining park. It is a short walk to Coolangatta restaurants. I recommend this property and will continue to stay there when in Coolangatta.

I paid over $200 for this room I accept prices rise at xmas, but the standard of the room was very poor, internet so slow i could not use it, the aircon dripped water on my pillow, the room was very dated, really old, shower with mold and grime at the bottom of the door, the tv remote only partially worked could not control the volume, even the tv volume would not work properly. My room was right beside the pool and the kids were so noisy from may hours, i think the rooms close to the pool should have double glazing to get some peace, the noise did not stop until about 8pm, i had to keep the curtains closed as the people using the pool could see right into my room, kids seemed to enjoy staring. the beds were nice and clean, and the room was clean but the room was old and shabby poor value for money

So my daughter booked a family suite, which has 3 bedrooms in September for this past weekend. She was called earlier in the week to say there was a double booking of the room and we were being put into two rooms that had a double and a single in each at the same price. She has 2 kids aged 9 and 7. There was hardly any room to move in there. No cooking facilities. The cups and glasses had to be washed in the basin where you wash your hands after you have been to the toilet. The photos below were from my room show how the extra blankets were folded in the cupboard and the kettle, which I had to clean and result was below. Black stuff all through it. I went to reception at 11am and no one about and all lights and door locked I tried 2 different phone numbers and of course absolutely no answer. No message bank. An hour later I found a cleaner and showed her ( I left it on her cart with a note) and she apologised and said she would replace it and I said thanks so much. Next morning still no kettle and coffee cup still waiting for water. I spotted her walking past and asked where is my kettle and she replied that she had already put it in there. I was shocked and said let's have a look and showed her there was no kettle. Liar! Then she said, "oh I thought the other the girl was putting it there" 30 seconds before she said she'd done it. Finally I spotted reception was open and spoke the young girl in there about the price, lack of room, no cooking facilities, no wifi throughout the whole complex and the kettle. Well no reduction in price, no increase in room size, no cooking facilities and no kettle for me. It was appalling. The only good thing was the sincere apology from the young lady at reception and the beds were comfy. Oh also the kids had a swim in the pool, which was visible to both the park and the street. No privacy what so ever. No shade for the kids. This place calls itself a resort. They should look up the meaning of resort in the dictionary. We will never ever stay there again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone and now I am going to trip advisor and every hotel booking site and putting this on every site I can find. Thanks for a horrible stay and treatment

This is a cheap motel with delusions of grandeur. See through towels; of which only 2 were given for 3 of us. No bath mat and no hand or face towels. Sawdust in the closet. No microwave. Crappy internet you have to pay for (what self respecting hotel nowadays charges for internet if they want your patronage?) this place sucks.

Even if you think there is no accommodation left on the gold coast, there has to be something better than this. We booked three rooms, two had no hot water, two had issues with the lights and one had water all over the floor from a leak somewhere. As there is never anyone on site it could not be conveyed to them of all the issues. And honestly the only reason I have give them 1 star was how clean the rooms were.

Close to airport and 400m to Coolangatta main streets.
Ok for 1 night or if u need cheap accommodation but its very basic.
Its not a resort ! that's misleading, its an ugly Motel with an outdoor car park, not under-cover.
Our room had a balcony with view of a nice park so that was ok.

March 10, 2022... DO NOT STAY HERE! The place is dirty and unkept. The website is very misleading. We waited for 3 hours to get in as the office closes at 10.30am. Arrived at 2pm and nobody answered the "check in" phone number. We waited around with other guests who also couldn't get in. So we were forced to book alternative accommodation. And now, they're not giving me a refund! An absolute hack operation. I'm off to Fair Trading. 0/10. I wonder how places like this stay in business??

This place needed a VERY good clean.Paid top dollar at time of festival-and I was shocked to see how dirty it was on arrival.Depressing;as one would at least expect a clean loo! But,on arrival a DIRTY toilet.Inside bowl and outer.(I do not wish to go into details).Filth & scum around taps and on ledge where glasses sit;fridge dirty, shower area mold and scum.Unhygienic.Bed sheet had black pubic hair on it.Towels-stained and holey as carpet was too.Dirty windows-and this was the only cleaning that was corrected when spoke to management to have place cleaned. This motel is in a great location but standards of hygiene need to be addressed asap.I felt the room had not been serviced properly (or at all)between guests. The areas where germs can spread needed a very good clean. So your health, physical and mental will suffer if you stay here!

Hey there, the nearest airport is the Gold Coast, airport code is OOL. I'm not sure how much a cab would be because I drove but it would take approximately 5-10 mins, its just under 3km away. There are plenty of sightseeing tours which you can book at the shopping centre just near the motel or online. Popular attractions are the big theme parks, Dream World, Movie World etc, the beaches, the Gold coast itself and then going down to Byron Bay (30-45mins drive) and the Hinterland. :)

Answer from Martin A

Yes, there is a number of car parking spaces at the motel. There is also plenty of street parking outside the motel, which seems quiet and safe. Hope this helps.
