Fantastic ocean views, friendly service and clean apartment. The resort is above the shopping centre so one minute walk to cafes, boutique shops and woolworths. Two minute walk to Coolangatta surf club which has good food at reasonable prices. You could stay here and never have to drive anywhere as the beach is just across the road.

The old receptionist is so rude…. Im not from here and i asked her for info and she doesn’t do any effort for help me. Seems like i was bothering her and make me feel bad…. No worry madame, i will ever come back.

Rooms were full of bed bugs. We had a horrible experience. Ruined our long awaited holidays. Rooms were full of thousands of bed bugs. When complained,the manager tried to blame guests, what a shame. Very rude manager. They have very bad customer service. Even we provided pics and videos of all the bed bugs we could see. when we complained to media, they advised there was only 1 bug. What a disgrace. My wife got allergic reaction as well. And we were given 1 hour to leave the apartment with infesticated luggage and find our own stay on new year night at double rates. how can you ask guests to leave without treating bugs ? . do you feel any responcibility not to spread the bugs to other hotels? Charged us extra 256$ for cleaning as well. We have complained to council. Have provided pics and videos to media. Will take the matter further where ever we could to expose their real face so that they don,t ruin more families holidays.…

Modasserr2017, This is the third time you have posted this incorrect review of your stay at Ocean Plaza Resort, you made application to QCAT for compensation and were unable to satisfy the adjudicator that your story of thousands of bed bugs was correct. You even expected the adjudicator to believe your story that there were bed bugs when you arrived but you couldn't see them. You also forgot to say that we had your luggage fumigated and booked and paid for alternative accommodation for you at a 5 star resort. We went out of our way to ensure you were cared for including fumigating your luggage. You claimed your wife had an allergic reaction but the adjudicator identified the doctor you went to 7 days after leaving Ocean Plaza Resort never examined your wife. We welcome feedback from guests however guests have a responsibility to put accurate truthful feedback not just about Ocean Plaza Resort but any property they review. Our apartments are individually owned and false feedback like yours affects all the apartment owners in the building. You should be ashamed of yourself Modasser. We charged you an extra cleaning fee because you left the apartment filthy.

10th wedding anniversary and 50th birthday celebration. Ocean Plaza at Coolangatta WoW from the moment we checked in we were greeted with amazing friendly staff great recommendation s for dining options The room The view The whole week was amazing . Endless views amazing weather beautiful beaches so many dining choices on our block. We have found a beautiful peace of heaven at Ocean Plaza and can't wait to come back. Can't believe they charge same rate for this old dilapidated 2 bed unit as other more modern on booking.com reviews/photos. Old uncomfortable furniture, smelly, grubby bathrooms/unit, have to purchase all supplies/toiletries after 2 dishwasher tabs, small satchet of Dishwashing liquid, few tea/coffee, 1 bar soap each bathroom and no service in a week, 9am checkout, and have to removerubbish. If hadn't had to pay full amt up front would have gone elsewhere

Being on the organising committee of our school reunions for the past 20 years, I can speak with authority, when I say "you cannot go past Ocean Plaza Resort". We have been holding our reunions at OPR for the last ten years & have just re-booked for 2024. Managers Mandy & Graeme & all their staff, with a special mention to Lauren & Amber, could not be more helpful & accommodating. The apartments are fantastic, the views breathtaking & the location unbeatable. With the beach right across the road, the shopping centre directly next door & everything you would want in a holiday, just a short walk away, why would you look elsewhere. Whether you are a couple, a family or a social group, do yourself a favour and book into the Ocean Plaza Resort, you will noy regret it.

Amazing location with the shopping and beach at your doorstep. Fireworks at Tweed and Coolangatta were fantastic 🎉. Our morning walks around the headland and up to Rainbow Bay were just the perfect way to start each day, plus coffee. We are definitely coming back!

We love our annual summer holiday at Ocean Plaza in the heart of Cooly. Our two boys love the access to Timezone downstairs, and we also love being so close to shops, cafes and restaurants too. The beach is literally across the road. The staff are great and always try to help👍

Hi Chris H, Thank you for review of your stay with us at Ocean Plaza Resort, we love to hear that our guests had an awesome time, the Strand shopping centre is acceessible from level 1 of our complex, Timezone is on Level 1 and is a great place for kids of all ages. Woolworths and many restaurants and bars, doctors, chemist and many other retail stores are in The Strand shopping centre and there are 4 Surf Clubs within a short walk as well. The Coolangatta Hotel is under our complex and is always a nice place to enjoy a cold beverage on a hot summers afternoon. What an amazing experience with great service. Would totally recommend this resort to all families and friends with fantastic facilities this resort has amazing rooms and serviced regularly also the bbq and pool area is just beautiful with a lovely warm pool and hot spa . We loved playing tennis and going to the gym which is well setup and maintained . Totally recommend
