Awesome hosts who welcomed us into their beautiful country home nestled in a valley surrounded by natural bushland. Garth and Marcia are wonderful cooks, plying us with cupcakes, good coffee and a sensational breakfast on the deck. We wandered throughout the homestead enjoying the incredible collection of memorabilia, recalling seeing many of these items in our parents and grandparents homes....

The house is beautiful, the garden is stunning and there are kangaroos, Marcia had just baked cupcakes when we arrived, they helped us improvising a dinner, Garth whipped up a delicious breakfast next morning. We felt welcome and at home from the first minute. Sidenote: My girlfriend accidentially left her phone at Hideaway Haven and Marcia sent it after us...

Hideaway Haven is a quaint, beautiful, relaxing B&B we stayed at to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. We could only stay 1 night but wished we could stay for longer. Garth and Marcia were very welcoming hosts, providing a lovely afternoon tea on arrival and Garth served up a delicious breakfast after checking with us the night before as to...

Stayed a couple of nights while on holiday to see the turtles and spend some time on Lady Elliott Island. Warm and inviting. Has a great view of the wildlife as an added bonus. Was even served a couple of cold beers in the evening which was most unexpected but appreciated! Would happily recommend and stay again.

In a day of mediocrity this bed and breakfast simply stands head and shoulders above others. Hosts Marcia and Garth have created an exceptional bed and breakfast thinking of everything to make your stay that much more comfortable. From the welcome cup of tea & homemade cakes to the sharing of tips for things to do and see. Nothing is...

We called in to Bundaberg on our way home from Newcastle to mackay, a trip we usually do in one drive ...hubby had business in Bundaberg that necessitated a stop over. Simple except that we had our daschund along for the trip! We called Hideaway Haven and I spoke to Marcia who assured me that our sausage wouldn't be an...
