I could not say one bad thing about Hideaway Haven B&B! From the hosts to the accommodation itself I wish I could award it another star, upon our arrival we were greeted and made to feel at home straight away. The room we stayed in had a vintage and country feel with a claw foot bathtub situated in the corner,...

After a long day on the road we were greeted by Marcia who gave us tea and home cooked cakes and biscuits - which we enjoyed in the company of a few wallabies! Our beautiful room in their beautiful house (which they've given over to the b&b business) just reinforced why I like to stay in b&bs over hotels. Lovely...

We travelled from BNE to TSV few days ago and the first stop over was in Hideaway B&B. Because we were travelling with our 12 months old daughter, we had to take our time and didn’t arrive hideaway until almost 9 pm. Even that's pretty late, Marcia and Garth was still up and warmly welcomed our visit by offering cup...

A unique property in secluded surroundings. With perfect hosts to make us welcome we found Hideaway Haven the ideal B and B from which to explore the area. Our breakfast was excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean. The pool was a pleasant way to cool off after a day visiting places of interest.

We arrived late having travelled up from Rainbow Beach but nevertheless Garth and Marcia greeted us like long lost family - Offering us home made cupcakes afternoon tea and beer. We settled into the evening with another German couple and watched the wildlife in their natural bushland garden. Our room was wonderful a large comfortable bed in a homely room...

I have become a recent fan of the B&B, particularly for short overnight stays. This is certainly a fine example of why a B&B is preferable to a hotel. Garth and Marcia are extremely pleasant and attentive hosts, making you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. I had the run of the house (as I was the only guest)...

Awesome hosts who welcomed us into their beautiful country home nestled in a valley surrounded by natural bushland. Garth and Marcia are wonderful cooks, plying us with cupcakes, good coffee and a sensational breakfast on the deck. We wandered throughout the homestead enjoying the incredible collection of memorabilia, recalling seeing many of these items in our parents and grandparents homes....

The house is beautiful, the garden is stunning and there are kangaroos, Marcia had just baked cupcakes when we arrived, they helped us improvising a dinner, Garth whipped up a delicious breakfast next morning. We felt welcome and at home from the first minute. Sidenote: My girlfriend accidentially left her phone at Hideaway Haven and Marcia sent it after us...
