Hideaway Haven Bed and Breakfast is located approximately 11 km south of Bundaberg Airport. Set on 12 acres away from the highway in a small, hidden valley, this private rural setting is quiet and secluded with sweeping views of orchards, dams and bush. Wildlife including wallabies, goannas, kookaburras and other native birds are regular visitors. Our Bed and Breakfast houses many interesting collectables that add old-world ambience to our home. Enjoy the luxury of our Queen Rooms with en suite bathrooms and access to the garden. Your hosts, Marcia and Garth, offer a warm welcome and a comfortable stay in a relaxed Australian bush setting.

This b and b is truly paradise. From the moment you drive through the main gate you can see beautifully tendered gardens. Inside is remarkable. So much attention to detail. We felt like queens as Garth tendered to our every need. The B and B is on several acres. It is so relaxing to sit and hear the birds, watch the kangaroos with the lovely kept yard and dam. The rooms are like going back in time. If you are going to Bundaberg you must stay here.

Weekend away from the City. Come to Bundaberg, staying at Hideaway Haven. Was greeted by Host Garth on arrival, friendly and kind. Would recommend to anyone for a peaceful time and homely feel. Short distance from Town and surrounding areas. Great breakfast with good scenery on the back deck 😄

We really enjoyed our stay at Hideaway. Garth was a very accommodating host, but also gives you a lot of privacy at the same time. The house was very clean and has a lot of interesting Australian artifacts to observe. The area surrounding Garth's house is amazing, beautiful sights during the day and stars at night. We brought our dog and she loved playing in the big yard. We would definitely stop by here again when traveling around Bundaberg.

Garth is a wonderful host. We were very spoilt during our stay and wouldn't hesitate recommending Hideaway Haven BnB to anyone and will return should the opportunity arise. A comfortable and clean room, a lovely fire in the evening, amazing breakfast and a super place to relax - what more do you want from a stay?

Absolutely loved it here. From the moment you arrive you are surrounded by nature and wildlife. At dawn we saw lots of kangaroos and was lovely to listen to the birds at breakfast. Garth, the host was lovely and so accommodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I booked for 2 nts. My booking was last minute, made around 6pm. Around 8pm I phoned to advise we would not be arriving u til around 11pm and can we make arrangements to access a key to the room.the owner, an elderly mamlaughed at me stating “what a joke I’d made a bookings 6pm and that no accommodation place in the world would allow check in at 11pm. I asked if he had a night safe for key collection as was told he was a one man show and how ridiculous expecting any facility to have a night safe. He was extreme rude, belittling and I believe under the Influence of alcohol. Before hanging up on me he told me was entertaining his own guests. Before I could even try and make arrangements with him, he said “clearly we are not going to get along, so best you find alternative accommodation. When I asked if he would refund the $330 he had charged my credit card , he replied No you can forfeit the payment for having such ridiculous requests and for booking so late. He stated he doesn’t take bookings after 2pm. then why charge my credit card?? This matter has been referred to Agoda and my credit card company. I would STRONGLY advise any person booking with this man. He is a con man, dishonest, rude and belittling claiming I was rude to him yet he hung up on me twice and refused me access to the room I had booked and paid for in good faith.…

Absolutely loved it here, beautiful and serene surroundings. Lovely host, super friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re over the same old basic hotels everywhere you go. Hot breakfast was incredible and the pool was clean and very relaxing. 10/10.

We stayed here for two nights, and that wasn't enough! Due to our crazy schedule though, we had to keep moving on. Garth was an amazing host, and I don't think there is anything more he could've done to be more accommodating. I could've sat on his screened in patio all day just taking in all the nature that came and went depending on the time of day. It was seriously a real treat and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
