Detailed Reviews
Rooms and bathroom are starting to look a little tired but the bed is comfy, air con good and tv works well. Just be mindful that there are a lot of mosquitoes around at the moment in Bundy (wet season) and many of these were in my bathroom. There is a strong cleaning chemical smell which can be off putting if sensitive to smells.

Located in the heart of Bundaberg, right near the river, Econolodge Park Lane was easy to get to, and near most of the Bundaberg attractions.
The room we had was clean, although there was a powerful, though not unpleasant smell of cleaning solutions or deodorants. The bathroom and shower was clean. The twin room we had was was not large, and included two small desklike tables, an electric kettle, toaster, microwave and mini-fridge as well as the beds. They were comfortable, but a little on the soft side for my liking.
Breakfast service was a nice touch, the coffee was great, although small.
all in all, budget value at a budget price

Excellent restaurant meal in Central Bundaberg. Perfectly cooked steak, great sauce - Béarnaise and Pepper are excellent.
Friendly and helpful staff. Bundy is lucky to have Kazia producing such delicious meals in this easy to miss venue. Will always return here when visiting for work or family holidays.

When you are the only customer from 6,30 pm till 7,45 pm on a Thursday night that’s normally a sign . Restaurant has no character at all and has that old smell , no wine list and a few. $10 wines for $ 20 bucks , guys , you need to lift your Game as my meal Was very good indeed, no problem with that , maybe some music and a little bit of atmosphere and get rid of the smell

First visit to Econo Lodge Park Lane in Bundaberg, good location with onsite restaurant. Friendly greeting at check in which was very easy, and a bonus upgrade as well.
Room is very clean, comfortable bed & newly upgraded bathroom with all you require. The onsite restaurant is great, although there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Good quick service, food was very good (Surf & Turf), my steak was a very decent size, which did take a bit longer to cook, but that is understandable. Carpark in front of room, which is great.
Very good rates for the rooms available. I will return here and highly recommend this motel.

Although an old motel it is very well kept , rooms are small but comfy beds clean and tidy . Everything works . Bathrooms are very clean .
Driveway has 2 street frontages so access is easy if you have a large vehicle and wide parking spaces in front of each unit . Has a resturant but not open during covid . Nice owners .
I woukld stay here again .

Extremely clean and really comfortable beds. Very well appointed room. Walking distance to Fish & Chips Shop and Pizza Capers. The manager was very friendly and helpful and room price was excellent. We would have no hesitation in staying at Econo Lodge again.

Nicely renovated, modern room and bathroom. Fully stocked kitchenette. Restful sleep. Great value. I would stay here again. The only criticism would be that the carpet had carpet nails poking out in some spots, it hurt my feet and I had to wear flip flops inside the room.

The Good
- The room was fine - had a desk, TV (cable), shower, small fridge (no mini/ snack bar), microwave, kettle, iron, bed, wifi included, everything you need to get by.
- The towels and bedding were changed weekly.
- It's only a few blocks from the centre of town with several small restaurants in the vicinity. - There is a small 'zoo' just around the corner - highly recommended.
- The owners were always available to assist and were very warm and welcoming.
- Water pressure in the shower is amazing.
The Bad
- Th bed was made up daily, but tea cups were not washed and the room was not dusted.
- You need to request milk daily at the reception as it's not replaced.
- The heater (AC) was restricted to max 24C, which was a little cold in winter.
- Optional room service for breakfast but beware - $4-odd for a cup of instant is a bit over the top, rather just use the room supplies or go out for breakfast.
- Don't eat at the dining room. The salad and veg weren't fresh and were served slimy and mouldy respectively.
