This was one of the best motel rooms that we have ever stayed in. Firstly, sadly so rare in many others, the lighting was perfect. All the facilities were practically laid out, the kitchenette was generous in size and there was plenty of room for luggage. Throw in friendly service and easy parking and there is nothing more that you could ask for.

We selected this spot online and expected that it would be something similar to the many suburban and country motels built in the 1990’s with faded furnishings in stuffy, aged rooms but this was not the case! Furnishings and decor are modern and comfortable - particularly the bed - which was delightfully comfortable. The room was pristinely clean to this person with a sensitive nose to dust and the reception and cleaning staff were ineffably polite and helpful. A really lovely stay.

Pretty grounds and architecture & one would expect it to be more expensive than the dives on the main drag, but its not. Great hosts, clean - I did my usual wipe of the washing machine to remove lingering washing powder/sticky conditioner or dust but it would have passed the white glove test. If you are working, the wifi is fast and effectively unlimited, and the curtains near blackout, aircon efficient.

This was a last minute booking on our way up to Airlie beach and all I can say is if you need to stop anywhere en route towards The Whitsundays or Cairns make this one of your stop overs.
We received a lovely warm welcome, the rooms are spotlessly clean, immaculate and smell fresh, the bathroom has all you need, a sink toilet and separate shower which is accessible to me as an amputee.
On offer are complementary tea, coffee, sugar and even fresh milk. There is a small kitchen area with a microwave, dish rack, dishes, cutlery and even washing up liquid.
We arrived too late to look at the pool but to be honest at 8pm the folk in the pool sounded as though they were enjoying the swim.
It’s a very quiet motel you hardly hear any noise despite it being close to a main road a few streets away.
Immaculately clean, friendly and better than some of the more expensive hotels I’ve been in, and definitely disabled friendly.
Don’t be put off by the fact it’s a motor inn be surprised at what you get for your money. We’d certainly consider using it again.
Excuse the messy bits that’s us making ourselves at home!!

WOW, this is a lovely motel, everything is really well maintained, the pool is beautiful, BBQ, tables and chairs. Rooms have microwave and full kitchen setup, plates and cutlery etc. lovely big room with a window I could open. Parking at front door, very friendly check in and staff we had a joke with, felt really relaxed. A comprehensive compendium 👍which many Motels lack these days but I always like to read through and familiarise myself with Motel and area. Purchase of very reasonably priced alcohol to sip on the verandah or in room can be made from reception. Within easy walk of many takeaways, Well priced room service breakfast served hot, Highly recommend.

From the moment we walked into reception and received a friendly cheery greeting from Kimberley, we knew we were on a winner here.
Our unit was spotlessly clean in all areas, comfortable, and was well-equipped with microwave, hotplate and cooking utensils. There is also a barbecue in the garden area, with covered table and seating. Barbecue utensils are available from reception on request. The garden and barbecue areas are very neatly maintained and the pool looked clean and inviting (although we didn't test it as the weather was a bit cool at the time)
The location is excellent - quiet, and a block from the main street. The centre of town is just a few blocks away. There are restaurants within walking distance, and there is a cluster of restaurants a couple of minutes drive away down towards the centre of town.
We enjoyed our stay here very much - Kimberley and her family, and the rest of the staff were all very friendly. We would definitely choose the Bundaberg Spanish Motor Inn next time we're in Bundy.

Highly recommend staaying here. Great host, very friendly, accommodation is great, good beds. Very quiet, so you get a good night sleep. Prices on drinks was very good. Information about eating venues was very helpful. Breakfast is very good value for money. Pool area is very well maintained, having a barbeque area is a great idea. Having toiletries in dispenser is so much better than individual packaging.

We had two rooms for a hot night in January on our second visit to this motor inn. Air conditioning worked well and made for a very pleasant stay. The staff are warm and friendly, rooms are spotless and spacious. Great thick towels that you don't often see! Parking is outside your unit. The two rooms we had (an Executive Queen and an Executive Twin) both had handy kitchenettes, with sufficient basics for making light meals and a good cup of tea. Rooms are well kitted out for the price. Highly recommended for a peaceful night's sleep, yet not far from the CBD.
