What a great place look it's old decor but was clean and had a lovely view. The anchorage restaurant was excellent. Food was pricey but excellent a fantastic evening. The view was awesome. We enjoyed it and will be back again such good value and location

we noticed the air con didn't work. We reported it on our way to a wedding. Upon getting back late, nothing had been done. We slept with the door to balcony open, but made little difference. When we complained in morning, we were just palmed off

Friendly, helpful reception staff. The rooms aren't modern, but they're clean and comfortable, and WOW, that harbour view! Great location. So nice sitting out on the balcony first thing in the morning having a cup of tea, watching the people go by 😀 👍

When we finally negotiated the maze that is central Wollongong we were given a friendly welcome by the efficient Rebecca who provided us with what to do on our short visit. The motel is adjacent to the harbour, has its own restaurant but is alsohandy to others. There is a nice waterfront walk with access to 2 swimming pools and...

If you are a fussy traveller - don't read any further. Stayed here for one night in Jan 2017 on return trip north. Booked a harbour view room (higher rate). Was given a room on top floor with boat harbour view - very nice view actually. Older property and quite worn around the edges. The oldest lift I had ever...

Was not a bad spot. Was not able to get an ocean view room but will definitely do so next time. The ladies in reception were very courteous and helpful. The ocean outside your doorstep is a plus. Walked north along the beach was wonderful.

Staff, especially one receptionist, is not friendly and rude over the telephone. I called on Thursday 29 December 2016 asking when is the best day to cancel (my father was admitted to hospital), she said before 48 hours, SHE DID NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT PAYMENT. Then, I called on Saturday 31 December 2016 to cancel, because my was admitted to...

This was our second stay at this motel which has some rooms facing the harbour and is within easy walking distance to beaches, shops and dining. The free loop bus stop is almost outside the door. We had an older style room on our last stay and an updated room this time and both times we found the rooms to...

This place is a gem. If it was a flash place you would not be able afford the room rate. So for what you get, it's peaceful surroundings, the smell and sounds of the sea, plus the access to the harbour, rock pools, beaches, seafood eateries and access to the city. You would be mad not to want to stay...

Helpful and friendly staff made our Christmas break really special. Large ocean view room with a double and single bed, small kitchenette and wonderful powerful and hot shower in the bathroom. Recently updated rooms make this place a must if you want to stay in Wollongong. The Anchorage restaurant downstairs is also fabulous.
