The service and price were really good but the noise was awful and amenities need a huge upgrade. Things like dirty tea towels left on the floor to a broken bed. With an upgrade the place could be excellent with it's great location and good service.

Stayed at this Motel to attend a wedding at another venue. Large family room (only 2 adults staying), with kitchenette. Comfortable bed and clean. When we walked into the room we could smell cigarette smoke in there, the window was open, and it was quite noisy from the street. Early hours of morning, an alarm went off and seemed like...

Recently spent one night at this motel in order to attend a concert at the WIN Entertainment. Perfect location directly across the road from it and short walk to beach and restaurants. When booking we were assured of a double bed and two singles (we were 2 friends travelling together-this was the 'family apartment'), only to find the single beds...

Great location for entertainment centre, stadium, restaurants, shopping, beach but needs major work - mould in bathroom, stains on carpet very hard mattress, bad TV reception - at $154 a night was certainly not value for money when paying for entrainment dinner as well. Won't be back

As other reviews have noted, this motel is not the latest, but it is very well location. A very short stroll to the beach, next to the entertainment centre and 5 mins walk to some of Wollongong's best restaurants. It's got everything you need, inc a stove! Plenty of light, off street parking, super friendly management and staff. It was...

The kitchenette and bathroom looked liked the originals from the 50's. Badly needed a renovation. Bed was comfortable. Close to CBD and free parking. Service was not friendly. Stairs dilapidated, walls thin and some of the flooring in the kitchen was rotten. Expensive for what you got.

Well located is the best I can say about this place. Oh yeh & it's always good to know when your neighbour is showering. Desperately screaming out for a total facelift! Grotty, noisy, very uncomfortable beds, kitchen ... seriously!?

Now that Wollongong the Brave is well on the way to reinventing itself as a Tourist Destination and Conference Central, you'd think all the 1970s gems would have been swept away in the Tide of Progress. Think again dear reader! At City Beach Motel you'll find not just the ghost but the reality of holidays past! Oh the joy of...

Extremely good value for money and great customer service from all staff members. A room was warm, very clean and equipped with good facilities including a kitchenette. Reception was open for long hours and it was very near to the beautiful city beach. Also very near to the train station, free shuttle service, restaurants and shopping centre.
