I used to stay here ages ago but since I changed jobs had no need to until last week.

It was a pleasant surprise, they have new owners and they are very friendly. They have big plans and will shortly re-open the attached restaurant.

Pricing is very competitive and the rooms are large, bathroom a bit dated by they are going to update.

Well worth a visit

I have to admit my favourite things about our room was the queen bed I was very surprised how comfortable it was and the different pillows they had eg. one firm and med and one soft the next thing is the shower great pressure and the water stayed hot the little kitchenette was fine wish we had time to go for a swim next time. We couldn't use the restaurant for breakfast they didn't open early enough but overall i would go back i recommend this place if you are traveling in the area for a couple of days.

Last time we were here in Taree, we stayed in the Midlands Motel opposite, which we were not impressed with, but our choice this time was very favourable. We found the new owners Phil & Kieran of 10 weeks, to be extremely friendly, courteous & caring. They told us that they were gradually renovation all the rooms & bathrooms, to give the place a fresh new look. Although we did not have one of the newly freshly renovated rooms, it was fairly comfortable, although the bathroom was out dated & the bed could have been a little more comfortable, on the whole I would highly recommend this Motel knowing that it will take some time for the owners to complete the renovations, & it is very reasonably priced. Please give these owners your custom as they have also had a hard time with the bush fires, & need your support, as do all the businesses around the area.
We didn't have breakfast there but I believe you won't be disappointed with value for money, at $18 for the lot. We did however have an evening meal there, it was so yummy & top of the range service, very reasonably priced to suit all pockets. Taree has a really great shopping area & nice cafes. Thanks for a pleasant experience, we will be back!

Accommodation with large rooms at a centrally located motel. Each room is well set out and they have some Foxtel channels available plus Netflix and YouTube which many other more expensive motels don't have. Unfortunately at the moment the restaurant is shut but it is only a short walk into town. Great staff.

We stayed one night on a return trip and found the room to be very good and very clean with great appliances. The Caravilla Motel was centrally located and the meals and service in their restaurant were excellent and very reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

This motel was recommended to me by a friend who knew the owners from their previous motel in Port Macquarie, they were very friendly and have been updating the rooms since taking over. I now find the trip to Sydney a bit long to do on my own and Taree is a good half way stop from The Coffs Harbour area and I enjoyed my one night stay and will stop here again. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the room was quiet and comfortable, I enjoyed a great night’s sleep.

Just home from a 2 night stay. Room was clean and comfortable and suited our needs. Good location. I am however annoyed that I booked a room which included parking and there was no available parking either night of my stay. The first night I parked in what I believe to be a suitable park and awoke to a note attached to my car stating that it was not a car parking spot. Second night I had no choice but to park on the street. Car parks are not assigned to rooms. First in best dressed applies. Not good enough. Don't advertise parking included if you can not accommodate.

Response from Kieran Richards , Owner at Caravilla Motor Inn
Responded 25 Jan 2021
I'm so sorry again for the parking problem. There is 1 car park for each room allocated It is very difficult to control parking when people take 2 car parks. We don't usually have this problem. How the motel is designed it would not suit to have a number allocation as there are more parks on one side of the motel. I believe the 1st night of your stay there was a parking spot at the front of reception . The note on your car window was left so you didn't park there again as it could have caused a major problem if your car was hit as a delivery truck would not have fit past your car. Regards Kieran Richards Owner

Our Family visited the Caravilla again for our annual reunion (all 26 of us ) and found to our surprise that the Motel now had new Manager/owners ( Phil and Kieran) who we found extremely obliging and went out of there way to ensure we were looked after.

Our family came from Sydney, Newcastle and even one member flew in from the USA.

The motel is in the stages of Major renovations, the restaurant is now open for business (which it hasnt been for a number of years) and rooms are slowly being re-decorated.

Clean and comfortable room, with plenty of space for 2 adults, one baby and all added luggage for the little person. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was very good. Owners made us feel welcome. Off street parking, and quiet - no street noise.

A clean and comfortable place to stay.Older style room and the air con is old and a bit noisy. Bed was very comfortable and the shower is good with good hot water and pressure. Parking is outside your room door and no street noise where we were.

A big plus is the proximity to the Aquatic club (6 minute easy walk) which has good fairly priced meals.

Our third stay here and happy to use this place again.
