This older style motel has been gradually renovated and refurbished over recent years and will surprise you with it's individual and colourful room decor, towel art and a clean fresh feel. The single storey wing offers a continuous, narrow garden patio with flow through ventilation and outdoor tables and chairs. The small 2 storey wing offers King Suites and Family Suites, upstairs and ground floor and all room types have an espresso coffee pod machine, crockery, cutlery and glassware for a delivered cold continental breakfast or for your own in room dining. All rooms have a small fridge & a microwave however cooking is prohibited. Our beautiful salt water pool, bbq area and gardens are landscaped. Sun lounges, umbrellas and towels are provided . Surrounded by tall leafy trees, our guests enjoy the sounds of nature as they relax at this tranquil spot. Meters from the motel is the commencement of a new walkway, through the botanical gardens which runs parallel to the river. Although parking is at the door for all ground floor rooms, the main road and a side street, offer great secure parking for long and heavy vehicles, trucks and RV's. There is limited parking internally for trailers and towed boats. We are situate on the main road of Taree, a township now bypassed by heavy traffic, and is 1 km from the CBD.

Glennis would be second to none with hospitality, professional and kindly attitude. Clean and comfortable bed, great rates, everything spotless.
We were recommended places to eat which were great. Organised great parking for our trailer.
And the highlight was the continental breakfast......wonderful, lots of beautifully prepared fruit, cereals, toast, yogurts, juices and excellent coffee.
Wash and dry service provided for $10.00
Really cannot recommend this place enough. Good, honest and welcoming place to stay. Enjoyed every comfortable minute.

I have just spent 2 nights at the Crescent Motel, Taree and can highly recommend this accommodation. My room was spotless and well appointed; the bed very comfortable and the location quiet but ideally positioned to Taree’s CBD and with attractions very close by (movie theatre/restaurant in Manning River Hotel/ news agency/pharmacy/and more).
The owners were very friendly and helped make this a perfect stay for me whilst catching up with family in Taree. I’ll look forward to staying again when next in Taree.

We stayed in a family room on our way home from Brisbane. The motel room was very clean, Glennis on reception was very helpful, she lent us umbrellas so we could walk up the street to get dinner. Glennis was very knowledgeable about the different restaurants/pubs in the area. The motel room supplied shampoo/conditioner and soap for every person in the room, it was so nice to have a separate soap for the shower and wash basin. There was several small cartons of uht milk in the fridge, coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits were also supplied, as well as a toaster, kettle, plates, bowls and cutlery. Everything Yu needed was there. The beds were really comfortable as well. I would highly recommend the Crescent Motel to anyone.

My goodness, this is another golden review, which allows travellers to know, what to expect, in the room. I suspect many motels don't even provide milk, unless asked, as so many travellers do ask us. We do want our rooms to have all that our guests may need, as travelling and being away from home, can be stressful in itself, at times. Thanks again for your hot review and 5/5 score. I chose this motel because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. We noticed that the windows and doors of all rooms were open and the breeze was blowing through our room when we arrived, which to us meant it was regularly aired it smelt fresh and clean. We had everything we needed, even a microwave and a coffee pod machine, which was a bonus. For the price, location, cleanliness and service, we were so surprised and very satisfied. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night but were very happy with our stay. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfortable and we had a great sleep. The room was well set up with everything we could need. We enjoyed the $10 continental breakfast in the pleasant dining room, and felt it was great value. We would definitely stay at Crescent Motel again.

The team at the Crescent are extremely friendly & helpful. The rooms are clean & the beds are super comfortable. The location is great, very conveniently situated on the main road but is still very quiet (no traffic noise). You can walk to the pub across the road for dinner or a short drive to other restaurants in town. The Crescent is also great value for money. Only feedback for improvement would be a smart TV so that you can watch your chosen streaming service using wifi.

I have stayed here a number of times over the years and their answer is consistency.
Glennis is my usual contact and she ensures that all is in place. I usually request a particular room and 99% of the time this is arranged for me. It is also cheaper top book direct, which is not always the case. During Covid, I have booked and cancelled a number of times which is a fantastic advantage.
It's the little touches that make is a pleasant stay. Things like comfy chairs that you can sit in watching the TV, Capsule Coffee machine, Bottled Water and Biscuits.
The bathrooms are modern with a strong water flow in the shower.
All in all, it's a fantastic place to stay.

We recently stayed at the Crescent Motel, shortly after the Taree region had been devastated by Bushfires. The Motel was still in perfect condition, the service was lovely and amenities great. We asked for a recommendation for dinner too that turned out to be a hit. Would recommend staying here at the Cresent Motel, and if you're in Taree dinner at the Manning River Hotel and Breakfast at The Raw Sugar Cafe will ensure you really have a great time.

We booked just after lunch to stay the night when we calculated that Taree was as far as we would travel on 31 Jan 22. The motel was very easy to find on the main street and about a kilometer from the town centre. Reception was very efficient and we were very impressed with the size, cleanliness and facilities in the room. Despite being near the swimming pool and facing to the main road we had the ensuite between them and did not hear any noise and got a very good nights sleep.

I stay here at least once a month throughout the year for business trips. Glennis is a wonderful host and will always ask how your day has been and provide suggestions for food or entertainment in the area if you are interested. the rooms are always tidy and clean with an entertaining animal shaped towel waiting to greet you on the bed. The pool is pristine and very relaxing as is the outdoor seating outside of the rooms and in the BBQ area.
All in all a wonderful little Motel. I'd say its the best in Taree that's for sure!

Thanks for your enquiry. We are not a pet friendly property however we do sometimes allow guests to stay with a small pet, providing they have stayed before with the previous owners and have always exerciesed respect and consideration. There is only one room that can be allocated in this situation. Pets are not permitted on beds or furnishings. Therefore, it is only by prior arrangement. Guests can even sneak children and pets from their cars to rooms and so if you have an allergy, it clearly is always a risk. Even a 5 star resort can not prevent a guest from taking a very small pet in a bag to their room. You also asked about a kitchenette. That is a not a kitchen for cooking but a kitchen bench, with a microwave, toaster, jug, fridge and we provide crockery and cultlery to all rooms. No idea about pets but our room was perfectly clean. I would not stay in a room if I thought dogs or cats had been inside so I'll ask before making future bookings. The kitchenette was better than most motels, with toaster, microwave, kettle, teabags & instant coffee, fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine with two pods. The owners are very approachable so you should phone 02 65525244 to confirm the requirements. Have a meal across the road at the pub's dining room.
