I stayed in an executive suite on the 4th floor of the hotel situated right at the centre of Tamworth, on the main street and near the walking track by the river. There is free parking on the street around the hotel, but covered parking is also available at extra charges.
The room is large and well maintained. Amenities are basic but adequate. There is a bar fridge (no freezer), microwave oven, toaster, nespresso machine and kettle. Exactly as pictured, the food preparation area at the hallway has a small sink which is convenient. Everyday the dirty dishes/glass was taken care of by housekeeping. The sitting area is comfortable. Bed is comfortable. TV is hung high but adequate for viewing.
Shower area is clean; the vent is automatic (on and off).
I checked in and out after-hours and found it simple; front desk sent an sms to inform me the closure of reception and instruction to self check-in.
I can’t fault this functional hotel for a business or leisure stay in anyway, and find it value for money.

Excellent location, ample parking, spacious very clean and very well equipped rooms (some with unique features in the original part of the building. Truly excellent breakfast with wonderful service courtesy of the delightful Sandy and Ashley who could not have been more friendly or helpful.

Fantastic hotel right in the centre of where it is all happening at the country music festival. Nice airy very clean room and generous bathroom with a good collection of shampoos etc. Loved that bathroom amenities were in large refillable bottles rather than those annoying small containers that are still all too common.
The room includes a Nespresso machine - instructions would have been useful rather than having to resort to Google.
Service at reception was brilliant and we ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast - both delicious with friendly service. Would definitely go back as this hotel is well worth the premium, even if it did take us past our usual budget for Tamworth.

The welcome regarding the parking was underwhelming and puzzling.The toilet seat was loose. The noise from both the TV and guests from adjoining rooms was disturbing on certain nights (till 2.a.m.) The room was very small. If you supply a toaster then supply plates and cutlery to suit the appliance. Please train you bar staff better. A lemon lime and bitters does not have the bitters floating on top of the lemonade like a Vienna coffee.This accommodation was in no way 4 star.Quality accommodation often now provides water gratis. The room servicing, towels etc. were good. I understand the premium cost at that time of the year, but go to the extra level to match the premium rate.

Hi Graeme, Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it's unfortunate that you didn't feel comfortable bringing up your issues during your stay with us, we certainly would have welcomed the opportunity to fix any issues and make your stay more comfortable. I note that your booking was made for the Heritage Wing of the Hotel, your booking confirmation confirms that parking charges are additional so I'm not sure why this was puzzling to you unless you didn't take the time to read your confirmation or any information including the room configurations and services on our website prior to your arrival. As you pointed out you stayed during a premium time of year with the largest country music festival in Australasia taking place so naturally other guests would be coming and going enjoying the festival and the convenient access of our hotel being on the main street amongst all the action. If you had provided feedback, we certainly could have offered you the option to move into our new Executive Wing which has been designed to minimize any noise inconvenience for our guests but unfortunately you didn't provide us with that opportunity. What you have forgotten to mention is when you questioned the mini bar charges for your water during the stay, our reception team went the extra level and reversed the charges making your water gratis after all. Stayed in executive rooms, they were big with everything we needed. Parking was available on site and it was right in the heart of Tamworth. The building was beautiful designed with hints of its history throughout. However it is the staff who truly deserve the praise everyone member I met from cleaners to reception were very friendly and so helpful. Everyone has a smile for you and are very genuine in their interactions. This hotel is a real gem and should not be missed.

Very conveniently located and the quality of the hotel is good. The bedside lamps are a bit redundant, though, because they have dimmer switches incompatible with the fluorescent bulbs so they're always on, no matter how you adjust the dimmer/off switch. To permanently turn off the lights, you have to turn them off at the wall behind the bedside tables. They should either get new lamps or put bulbs in which work properly with those lamps.

The hotel is located in central Tamworth. They offer secure parking @ $10 a night. They have a restaurant, but there are lots of eateries in town. This time I stayed in the newer part which has much bigger rooms than the older (heritage) part. My room had a small balcony, a desk with overhead light, small table and 2 chairs, lounge, small smart TV, and like the hotel had a black and white decor. There was a Nespresso machine but the organic coffee pods tasted like cardboard. Instant coffee was better, but the restocking was missed sometimes with the room servicing. Small bar fridge with mini bar. Lift is swipe card controlled. I was comfortable in this hotel

The 2 most important things for me in a hotel are cleanliness and comfortable beds. This hotel had both, as well as a great bathroom and shower, and extra seating in the lounge area and balcony. It has safe, undercover parking (for a small fee), and easy access to many shops and restaurants I would not stay anywhere else in Tamworth.

Swanky, cool freshly renovated hotel. The rooms are spacious and lux. The air conditioning is whisper quiet and cold. The location is central to town and all pubs, clubs, cafes and music venues. Top pick for staying in Tamworth in a very luxurious setting. Well appointed.

Fantastic central location, fresh clean decor with a hint of Art Deco. The room was very spacious. The bathroom had a large vanity and the toilet roll holder was in a very convenient location. The only issue were the bedside light pendants, they looked great but did not emit enough light to read by.

We saw about 8 spots in the open air at the rear of the Hotel with CCTV security. First in best dressed and unable to reserve. Managed to get a spot during the Tamworth Country Music Festival - but didn't move the car till we checked out! Alternative is street parking within the vicinity (shouldn't be a problem other than during the Festival).
There are more places to choose from in the Tamworth area.
