Detailed Reviews
Park adjacent to 100kph zone on the New England Highway but road noise never bothered us. Reasonably level sites however, it lacked shade. Old amenities building with quirky layout which is cleaned daily. Good water pressure in showers. Washing machines clean as no lint left on dark clothing. Managers are new, friendly & helpful with plans for future developments. We'd stay there again. (8/10)

Stayed here many times and it's a good stopover camp for all types of travellers. No complaints about sites or facilities and the warm welcome was appreciated after a long drive. Will continue to use this good value CP.

Stayed here during TCMF. Man they got a lot of vans in. Good clean venue with helpful staff and not far from hub of entertainment. Only criticism were the number of amenities for the people there. Portable toilet and showers, pretty yuk in the high temps and permanent toilet shower blocks inadequate for the visitors. Add to this the lack of a dump point and you really have to question the fees charged.

Stayed here for the TCMF. It was extremely disappointing. They were clearly trying to pack as many caravans in as physically possible. I thought there are laws related to vans being parked correctly for quick exits not tucked behind other vans This also put an enormous strain on the ablution blocks both permanent and portable. The sewerage smell was terrible. The power kept failing . I acknowledge one of those was out of the control of management. The other failures was simply overloading the grid . There were extension cords attached to extension cords in excess of 40 metre because some power outlets were not working. There is no dump point at the park. There is no level van sites . The park is on slope no matter where you're located. The caravan park management need to look at the bigger picture and just not cash in on the TCMF. Despite the staff tried to do their best . This is an owners issue not staff

We have been visiting this park for many years and have found it to be consistently friendly and well organised. Management may change from time to time, but nothing has ever been a problem. Facilities are clean and meet expectations. All sites well drained. Dog friendly. Pool wonderful...and well maintained. Take-away at Moonbi is a great place for hamburgers. Tamworth city is an easy 20 minute drive away. I thought this was a plus. Enjoy!
