I highly recommend staying here.
Single level accommodation with parking at door of each room.
Room was a large size with a comfortable king bed, table & 2xchairs, lounge, lots of built in storage and a large bathroom with a large corner spa. Air conditioner and a window in both bathroom and front area. Mini fridge stocked well, toaster, kettle and crockery supplied.
We got the daily, continental breakfast which was delivered to our room, placed on the bench through a locked serving door, each morning. The latest they could deliver was 8.15am and plenty of food for each person. If you want a hot breakfast, you paid extra.
Thought it a bit strange that they do room service Friday to Monday, yet breakfast is served in the restaurant Tuesday to Friday. I didn't ask the owner this question, so maybe a costing purpose.
There is a BBQ area, outdoor pool, laundry and restaurant on site.
The room was clean, comfortable and a great size. Had everything we needed and would highly recommend.
The owner and staff were friendly and helpful.
The staff kindly set up a shower chair in a king room as the accessible room was unavailable.
We were very impressed with the fact that although we booked late in the afternoon the chair was in place when we arrived. Great service.
When we arrived the room was really good, lovely and clean, and spacious. The only negative was there was a high step from the car park - conveniently at the doorway to the room - up onto the pathway along the front of the rooms. My husband is elderly and unstable so this was difficult for him. We were in Room 4. Most other rooms didn’t have this high step.
After the operation my husband didn’t want to go to the restaurant, while he had 1 eye patched and doesn’t have much vision in the other one. So we ordered room service. As the lamb shank dinner had 2 shanks we asked for 1 serve, with 2 plates. The chef was most accommodating with this. And the meal was superb.
Would definitely recommend the Best Western Plus Settlers Motor Inn in Tamworth.
"If you have difficulty with a high step don’t ask for Room 4. The step was very high for my elderly infirm husband."Read full review
