The park is well presented and the amenities are spotless. It is located next to the river which has a convenient walking path and there is a shopping complex within walking distance. Canberra CBD is a 15 minute drive away so it was a perfect location for us to do some sightseeing for a couple of days. This park is maintained to a high standard, but rather than a longer term holiday destination, it functions as a central location for Canberra visitors.

Nice location, clean & tidy park.
Not secure. Public can & do walk through at all hours.
No customer service. Unanswered phone calls, messages left but no return calls or message replies.
Women’s showers were not hot for our 3 day stay. Especially disappointing in a cold climate. Contacted but no reply.
Not recommended.

What great place to stay.
Amenities where clean and the surrounding areas had plenty to offer with supermarkets, cafes and eateries.
The river running along side the park allowed for plenty of walks and a large grassed area to site and read or just have a sleep.
I would recommend this for any travelers

I've just returned from the Queanbeyan Riverside park after an absence of some years. Wow has it changed for the better! Everything is new or refurbished. Even the BBQ and toilets are spotless. The check-in process was COVID friendly and fuss free and the location made it really easy to walk into town - which is great when everyone is over being in the car. Will stay here again.

Clean, tidy and well laid out. Close to shopping centre and bus interchange. Great riverside walk alongside the caravan park that leads to a cafe that offers riverside or garden seating. Certainly recommend this place.

We weren't sure what to expect however the park is located in a handy spot in town with water front sites and access to a fabulous community playground and bbq facilities. The park and the toilet blocks were spotlessly clean! The only negatives were the drive through sites were all crushed rock and the check-in process a little confusing as we had been out of email range so missed pre-check in info required on arrival.
Access was unmanned but once we got our heads around checking in, the concept proved to be really clever! Loved the little silver bullet caravan!

Due to road closures out of Kangaroo Valley our route changed to via Canberra. The pics of this site looked very pleasing as you can see from mine. The reality is this is really a glorified car park. The Weir and traffic noise is unpleasant and the fact that any member of the public walking along the river can step into your site most disconcerting. We had to pack all our chairs away overnight. Whenever we opened our door which is at the back of our van, we were greeted with people walking their dogs or running. This park is overpriced for what you get. All that said, it served its purpose of providing an overnight stopover. Would never stay here again. There is an overnight free camp on the Shoalhaven River that would have been a much better option. Very disappointed.

Arrived and followed the so called automated instructions and paid online however didn’t receive an SMS! Waited for over an hour and rang the said number on the sign numerous times but sadly nobody answered! Ended up booking a motel for the night so putting this down to a bad experience :(

No personnel whatsoever, site assigned via text. The van site was so tight, no room to extend awning once car is parked. The park is completely open to the public - it resembles a car park, absolutely no ambiance. Will give them credit that the amenities were clean. Definitely won’t return.

Hi Kelly, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is feed back like this that we use to improve our guests experiences. Our park is operated with a Key Safe Check In System that allows us to provide a 24 hour covid safe check in for our guests. Assistance is available by calling the number given to you via text on the day of arrival and both the Manager, Cleaners and Maintenance team attend the park on a daily basis. Extra parking spots are available in multiple areas around the park so that you can spread out more on your site or another option are our larger Riverside or Drive Thru Sites. These sites will also give you uninterrupted views of the river and surrounding park land.

To start on a positive, the toilets and showers are well maintained, clean and tidy.
Now for the rest:
The garbage and recycling bins were overflowing when we arrived, and had not been emptied when we left 3 days later.
Because there is no-one in attendance, a number of sites were very full with tents and gazebos, with 2 or 3 cars per site.
There is a lot of traffic noise from about 5am.
Most parks we've stayed in, the caravan is positioned on the hard surface, with the awning over the grass. For some reason, this is reversed here. Leaving me to think the person who designed the lay-out was either European and didn't know the doors on Australian caravans were on the other side, or couldn't tell their left from right.
It was just like being in car park.
