We were in Canberra and a cabin seemed the best way for 6 people to stay in the same place with 2 bathrooms and one separate toilet. Check in was via a box even though staff were there. We just used it for beds, which worked as it wasn’t really for hanging about. We were on an internal road with a car park, so limited greenery. There was probably just room for 2 cars but only one was allowed in; the other was ok on the street overnight. Our cabin only had a tiny balcony with one chair, and one of those cigarette trays with a previous person’s butts. Although there were 12 beds, there were only 4 chairs at the table, and not enough couch for that many either, so if a big group was there you’d have to eat in shifts or standing. Bathrooms basic with limited hanging and no bench/ shelf space. Our stove didn’t work, and it was a cheap tiny 2 slice toaster, but we mostly ate out. It wasn’t far for us to get to things. It was quiet at night, with some lights shining in, and beds were ok.

This is my second review of the Crestview Tourist Park, the first being back in 2017.
Excellent place which is why we chose to stay here again.

Our Cabin was perfect spotless, nice & roomy, bed comfy.
Everything worked!
The park was packed with guests for Summernats so at times was loud with the guys & their cars, it was difficult to reverse &/or drive into our spot at times due to some guests having more than 1 car. One guest had a dog that wouldn't shut up but once the majority left after Summernats ended, the park was peaceful & quiet.
The pool could do with some shade, perhaps a shade sail, it gets pretty hot in Canberra in January.
The kids loved the trampoline & playground & were able to ride their bikes & scooters around with no issues.

Clean, friendly and well-organised. A lovely stay, peaceful surroundings. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin with 4 x teenagers plus 2 x adults. It was spacious and clean, and more modern than I was expecting. The pool and bbq areas were well-maintained - the heating in the camp kitchen was a plus! Will stay again.

This was our 2nd visit to Crestview tourist park, there were 5 families (5 cabins booked) by us as trip organizers. We originally booked our cabin (studio) for 4 people, however only 3 of us stayed - myself, hubby & 17 year old son,

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our cabin (number 85). It was tiny. The bunk beds would only be suitable for small children (10 years or below), as they are very small. My 17 year old had to sleep with his knees up or curled up in a diagonal position.

Also, both sliding doors (to bathroom & to bedroom with bunk beds which was more like a walk in wardrobe) were jammed and it was very difficult to get them to close.

I’d suggest it’s best for only couples to book these cabins. At almost $200 per night it’s completely overpriced for what you get…

First of all / we stay in Alivio Tourist park for 4 nights on power site with ensuite. We then moved to Crestview to try since it is rated 4 stars.

To my dismay - this look like a run down motel type park. The caravan site is not marked clearly. Two caravans will need to share the same electricity box and also water tap. Where is the privacy ?

There’s no restaurant on site. Kid playground is kidding. Alivio is 10 times bigger.

Why do I rate it poorly? We paid $80+ for a power site without facility but for same price you can get a top rated facility with ensuite at Alivio.

Don't know where to start. The caravan was absolutely filthy, the amenities are really basic. The pool / pool area is TINY. Location is 15/20 min walk from Queanbeyan City Centre. You can hear everything that goes on in your neighbours caravan. No cleaning products in caravans so you can't even clean it yourself. We ended up leaving early. OK for a 1 night stay but I wouldn't stay any longer. We only booked here as it had a kitchen but I didn't even end up cooking as everything just felt dirty :/

We stayed for 1 night in a studio cabin.

The check-in was easy and the cabin was 'fine' but clearly needed updating. Old cigarette marks in the sink and a slight smell of cigarette smoke in the bunk room. Dripping tap and 'ok' shower. Chairs at the dining table were wobbly.

The place is fine and easy to find and served the purpose for our quick trip.

This park refuses to refund. I was advised day before booking that Sydney was to be on stay at home orders. I cancelled accommodation and hotel will not refund. They profiteer off COVID and customer service is atrocious! I was planning to go back but once I have seen how they treat their customers, I will not support them or their business.
Hopefully the owner will read this and rethink who they hire as a manager.

Room was barely functional. Door locks could be opened with a butter knife, no outside lighting. Air conditioning didn't work, no heat overnight for a family of 5 (in July )From the cutlery to the curtains everything seemed grubby, as too the floors. Won't be staying there again.

The cleaning standard needs reviewing. Quite disgusting. Stains spills and rubbish under lounge chair fabrics cushions. Manageress was quite rude. I would not stay again. Stayed with family. Not my choice. Other than the accompanying we enjoyed visiting Canberra again.
