This was a comfortable room, with everything needed for a short stay. At the budget end of the price scale, so don't expect a premium room, but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the staff friendly. Yes there is abit of highway noise, but would you not expect this in a motel located on a main thoroughfare?

We stayed here for our recent holiday to Canberra. Perfectly located as all the tourist spots are all over the place. No more than 15 minutes from one attraction. The staff are friendly and nothing is a bother to them. You are close to mcdonalds, kfc, petrol station and a few minutes down the road is a shopping centre and... More

We found our room to be very good and well maintained. Nice to have a small kitchenette. The manager was great and nothing phased him so willing to help. Great RSL around the corner for good value meals.

My room smelt 'off'. Wasn't musky but like something had died in the wall. The cleaners sprayed every day, but it didn't mask the smell. The noise from the highway traffic was horrendous, and the chairs had grime inbedded in the creases. Also the bathroom window was like an open invitation to a thief, with no locking what-so-ever on the broken frame.

What a welcome change to have freshly laundered sheets ( new service apparently started last week). Great value for money with clean tidy rooms and friendly service. You can also use the 24 hour self check-in service which means you can arrive late and still get a room !!! Was impressed with the "smashed avocado & feta cheese on sourdough... More

We found Queensgate Motel to be clean, comfortable, convenient and excellent value. We stopped in late on a Saturday evening on our way from Sydney to Thredbo. Collecting our room key after hours was simple thanks to the key kiosk. Gary who took our booking over the phone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at the Queensgate again... More

We stayed here with 3 young children and chose this place specifically because it said it had a kitchenette. In our 1 bed + bedsit unit there was a small kitchen area which had a fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. No sink! No cook top! I accept we should have clarified exactly what constitutes a kitchenette so that was our... More

This motel is very reasonably priced though there were a few issues I had, the first and the biggest was the bed/pillows where very solid giving my a very sore neck. There is no early checkout/key drop point which was more of an inconvenience as we had to walk back to the room to drop the key inside. The motel... More
