We stayed here for a stopover on the way down the coast and it's perfectly located for an easy stroll around town. It's priced as expected for a 3 star and in the heart of town. The rooms are actually a good size, with a work desk and armchair for guests in your room. The balcony is also bigger than...

Stayed here one night as a family with two teenage boys - they don't have rooms that have enough beds to sleep 4 so we had a queen and a sofa bed which limited the space in the room. However the room appeared to be recently renovated and bed was comfortable enough. Not a waterfront hotel, a short one block...

Good value, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The kids enjoyed staying here and really enjoyed the pool. Felt very welcome. Great facilities in the room and it's close to everything. We're in a very convenient location, it's only a 10 minute walk to Town Beach.

We once again stayed at Mercure Centro January & April 2017 for 2 nights each month, but this will be the last time. On our previous 12 one night stays we have noticed the gradual slipping of standards. We had rooms 209, 504 & 505 on these visits they all had badly leaking showers, toilet areas where access is so...

I like booking through a travel fare aggregator website but the hotel staff didn't appear to be too happy that I had. The room booked and paid for was described on Hotels.com as, "484-sq-meter room, balcony with partial ocean and city views." The initial room they gave me was dark and faced a wall on a courtyard with pool. I...

This was our fist stay at this hotel but we were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is well positioned in the centre of town and "attached" to a shopping centre so there are many food and beverage outlets within a short walk. The hotel restaurant we would rate of higher than many others, we enjoyed an excellent meal...

I recently stayed at the Mercure in Port, I was only stopping in on the way to another destination, the rooms were clean and tidy and were more than adequate for a 1 night stay. The view from my balcony looking over the shopping centre carpark was a bit to be desired but it was not noisy. I enjoyed my...

Due to circumstances beyond our control we tried to cancel 3-days prior to check in and was told we couldn't. Nobody asked why we couldn't make it or really cared. So we where charged for a room without ever being there...Thanks for nothing

Stayed on a business trip. The room was modern, clean and boring with a good size bathroom. It had all the usual in-room amenities such as snacks, kettle, iron and hairdryer. The location is fine - quiet and relatively central but certainly not inspiring, it has no views.

Service was great, people at the front desk were very nice, but the room had stains on the carpet and black mould on the curtians. Needs a good clean Room was very noisy as it was next to a carpark. So definitely no sleep in. I wouldn't stay here again.
