We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we wish we’d had more time here. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a balcony, and the room was clean and spacious. The balcony was overlooking the road but it was pleasant with a nice view, and it was very quiet.

The location is fantastic, and very central and close to breakwall beach, and there is ample parking in the basement area.

The rooms were modern with a fridge and kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk.

The bed was really comfortable, and the linen was fresh and clean. We liked that there was ample storage too to unpack.

The pool area is really nice but sadly we didn’t get a chance to swim. The views from the top of the hotel are so nice.

The staff in reception were really sweet and welcoming, and checking in and out was quick and efficient.

We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great central location. Staff were helpful and always friendly.
Clean and plenty of room. Didn't cook but had all the necessary utensils and appliances. Ice ready to use in the freezer. Bed suited us and was very comfortable. Extra pillows if needed. We had a spa bath but didn't use it. Plenty of hot water. Although our 5th floor apartment width balcony overlooked Clarence St and Port Pacific apartments it was a very open view as you can see in my photos. . Didn't get to use it as unfortunately ,rainy weather. No vehicle noise with large sliding doors shut and no noise from other apartments so very quiet for a good night's sleep. Great views from the rooftop with a heated spa. Pool area on lobby level. Both looked inviting.
Parking in the secure garage was good and no problems anytime finding a space.
Can recommend breakfast and great coffee in "The Corner Restaurant" just off the lobby.
A short walk to Shopping, and to the river rockwall walk with lots of options for meals.
Greek restaurant "Papa Feta Ouzeria" just a few minutes walk away was delightful but suggest you share dishes- even the mains- especially the melt in your mouth roast lamb ( large portions). Best roast potatoes!!

Beautiful apartment complex with everything you'll need. The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. Our large apartment (3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) was beautifully set out and very clean. It was fully self-contained right down to a washer and dryer. Only stayed one night but very happy with the service and location and will definitely stay there again!

The place was nice enough but not worth $200 maybe $150.
My partner and I stayed at a 5 star hotel in Canberra just the night before for $50 more and it was 10 times better then here, TV was tiny I think the last time I was in a room with a TV that small it was a $80 Ibis, I was advised reception was between 2 PM to 7 PM according to the booking app, only to not be greeted on arrival at 6 PM and given a list of instructions on how to get to the room. While the instructions were comprehensive it would have been nice if the actual reception times were advised especially after driving for 7 hours from Canberra.
There was a screwdriver left in the bathroom which made me concerned of the plumbing, the toilet paper was half used and we had only 4 tissues left in the box, it was also strangely dusty, it had not looked like the room was properly cleaned. There was also no seating on the balcony so you could sit and look at the view (mind you to see that actual water you’d have to crane your neck around the corner to see a small section of it that isn’t blocked by trees).
I will say however that outside of the room was great (hence the average rating), the pool and spa were wonderful, the location is great being right near the restaurants and pier, but I’m not just paying for the location, spas and pool. Looking at the competition in the area there are plenty of better looking rooms that offer the same amenities in the same location. Thankfully this was just a one night stay over if we were staying longer I would have been more disappointed at the cost.
Like I said it was ok, we’ve stayed in worse but when I pay extra for a room called a “Superior Hotel Room” I’d expect better then a tiny TV, dusty room, incorrect reception hours advertised, and a balcony with no view. I’d love to know what the “Average Hotel Room” looks like?

Firstly and most important we really liked Port Macquarie.Great vibe lots todo and see.We booked a one bedroom apartment back in June /July 2023 for a two night stay. We saw some good reviews so expected a great apartment.. Sadly not ...perhaps it was some years ago?but our apartment faced a busy road on the 4th floor directly opposite another large hotel so they looked straight into the whole apartment. Buttons missing off chairs ,big scratches on the headboard, the bathroom sink needed a real clean around the plughole,a bit of black mould at the top of the ranch slider in the bedroom and worn stained carpet. One lady at the front desk was very curt when we asked about towels. We got two for our stay and you have to wash them yourself in the laundry in your room as they only service after 4 days. The outdoor pool is older and needed cleaning too.Annoyingly the outdoor table and two chairs was outsde the bedroom and the table could not fit the deck outside the lounge/dining area...the table therefore sat with the air con unit blowing hot air directly on it making it really unuseable. There is a shared bbq space on the roof with a partial view of the water so guess you could use that? Not at all what we thought this hotel/apartment would be.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel which is quite central and located at walking distance to beach, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is nice with a huge balcony with sea views. Also laundry and well equipped kitchen with dining and living room area and and bedroom with a confortable bed.
During our stay we did not hear absolutely any noise and I found it was quite quiet and private.
Also there is an internal car park with easy end quick access to lifts and a cafe next door.
We also found the staff quite polite and helpful and easy to talk with.
I will definitely come back and I really recommend this hotel to anyone.

Its claimed 4.5 stars probably overstates itself by half a star. The welcome reception was friendly and our one bedroom apartment was large, sunny and clean. The kitchen in particular was spotless and this is an area that often lets serviced apartments down. Some parts like the bathroom are starting to show some age which detract from its 4.5 star claim. And the “ocean views” is probably a bit of a stretch but reasonable value for money for what you get. On the other hand, the lifts were the most responsive I’ve experienced in a multi-story apartment.

We only stayed a night and the weather turned on us, which meant we weren't able to enjoy the great location of this apartment complex. However, we found the hotel to be quite dated and would have appreciated a fresh interior for the price we paid. Carpet, bathroom, kitchen, etc. It matters, because while I'm sure it was clean, it didn't feel clean. Further, the receptionist, after asking for a restaurant recommendation, pointed us to a really mediocre dining experience (In case you're wondering, it was The Grill). I know Port Macquarie has better food options, so I was left feeling disappointed.

The room felt crammed and had such an odd layout. The TV was the smallest I have seen in a decade and the bed was so uncomfortably hard, I was going to check out on the second day.
The pros were the location was a 2 minute walk to the beach and coastal walk as well as shops. The Corner Cafe is attached to the lobby and open early for good coffee and breakfast (or later dinner). It also had balcony and pool and underground secure parking.
The cons were the awful bed, and the cleanliness of the room just wasnt up to par.

Situated about 35o meters from CBD it is a very easy flat walk into city, along with close proximity to walk along breakwater.
We had ocean view room with spa which was quite spacious, clean and modern. Kitchen was well equipped, excellent beds along with a/c's in living area and bedroom. Balcony overlooked caravan park plus water views.
Our unit was on level five with easy access via lifts.
