The room we had (316) had a balcony, overlooked the water (and a roof) but on NYE we had a wonderful view of fireworks. The room has been renovated. It was all new, comfy king bed, beautiful bathroom. Spacious room with a large tv and lounge/sofa. Could not fault a thing! The parking was $30 a night and for $1308 for 2 nights room only I thought parking may have been included. But no. I stopped going to the Rydges at Port Macquarie many yrs ago as it had fallen in standards but this visit was fabulous! The pool and bar is great. Not much shade but ok. Pool has shade covers. Location was great. Couldnt fault a thing. Will definitely be back and bring my grandchildren next time. They will love the pool! Fantastic hotel to stay in and staff could not be more helpful. Wonderful stay.

Really lovely hotel right on the waterfront. We were lucky enough to get a refurbished room which was superb. Lovely fixtures and fittings. Didn’t eat in the hotel so cannot comment plenty of places to eat nearby. Parking is expensive but if you park outside and keep moving your car you can get around it.

Decided to stop over on our way down the coast after hearing of a recent refurbishment. Was not disappointed, as the room and bathroom are beautiful, and are now probably the best rooms in Port Macquarie. The location is excellent, central to all the shops and restaurants and adjacent to the river foreshore walk. Whilst we didn’t have a balcony room this time, I plan to do so on our next visit as the views over the river are magnificent.

Rooms are great, service is crap…. Ordered room service, told to leave a message, called back after 1hr to be told they didn’t get it…. No food and as a bonus the receptionist disconnected me !!!! Will be using alternative arrangements in future as the wheels are well and truly off in regards to service

Went in the cheapest room but it was HUGE. Renovations were beautiful, bathroom looked so clean and aesthetically pleasing. Bed was massive and so soft. AC worked really well and adjusted temperature quickly. Car park was very convenient and easy to access. Staff were very pleasant and positive. Only neg is that there was no soap by the sink. Was just a bit odd.

We stayed in room 317 and it was beautiful. By far the cleanest hotel I have stayed in. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The only negative was the cost of parking - but the views and beautiful room made it worth it.
Definitely booking in to come back for longer than a night. We didn’t want to leave.

The room, bathroom, balcony and view were fantastic, as was the staff at reception. The hotel has recently undergone a complete update and the changes are obvious. Couldn't fault the place. Will recommend it to our friends and family for sure.

Room and location wonderful beautiful view from the premium room was spectacular. Premium room layout was really comfortable. Personnel not so much
Occasionally someone was at the front desk. And sometimes they cared that you wanted to ask them something.
But then we went to bed. There was very loud music right below our window. I called to ask how long that was going to continue. The answer was that it probably wouldn’t be long. A while later I called again and was told that it was a meeting of a doctors group that was booked there but she’d see if they would lower the volume. The third time she said that I could move to another cheaper room with no additional charge.
