We had a week at port pacific during peak season. Our room Was situated on level 4 directly above the rooftop pool and bbq area. We have 3 kids and a negative is kids constantly running up and down corridors at 7am. Apartments are a little older but extremely clean and functional. My negative is they have no oven !!!!! If I’d known this I would have taken an air fryer. They have a dishwasher and microwave and two hot plates. The rooms have a lounge room in the middle and bedrooms either side.
The only air conditioner is in the middle room which is not ideal in 30 degree heat. There are fans in the bedrooms. Beds are ok but take your own pillows. There are 3 bathrooms (odd) one should be a laundry. There is a laundry on each floor which is free to use but you share with ten or so other apartments although we had no issues except it’s locked at 8pm, perhaps 9 might be better. With kids running everywhere I’m Confident 9pm wouldn’t impact guests. There is a half tennis court which is great and a kids play area with table tennis etc. A spa and gym. Our girls (15) are gym goers and were not allowed to use it as they are under 18, this needs accessing.
It is a 2 minute walk to the nearby shops, cafes and restaurants and so many options. About a ten minute drive to a decent beach. The pool and bbq area is amazing and very family friendly. Plenty of tables but only one umbrella (please invest in some more) that’s a huge disappointment. Rooms are not serviced but they do a towel swap throughout your stay and you can borrow a vacuum as required. TVs are a great size and you can stream from your own devices. Parking is 2.1m so we couldn’t park underneath but ample overflow outside. Lifts are so slow as there are only 2 and often you are left waiting for sometime. Overall a good stay, a great location, clean and tidy and helpful staff.

Our apartment for a 10 day stay was on level 5 front overlooking the pool, with views of Hastings river and the ocean. As we entered we were hit by the spacious airiness of the living room, main bedroom and the second double single bedroom. We unpacked to find significant hanging space behind double mirrored wardrobe. Both bedrooms had luggage racks although we unpacked and stored cases in the second bed robe. Not only did we have an ensuite in both bedrooms but a third bathroom off the entry! being a bit older a bathroom to use without disturbing any one else at night is handy. Safely tucked in a secure car park we hardly used the car for our stay as everything was a short walk away, to shops restaurants and bars in the lovely city or Part Macquarie. We both needed a quiet break and with pools, tennis and playground there was plenty to occupy children. We eat out a fair bit but the well equipped kitchen allowed us some more economic holiday meals. The whole resort sparkled like a new pin everywhere was very clean and up to date even though the building was obviously an older more solid affair. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We discovered for only $650 a year we could own a week of an apartment for use almost any time of the year. Tell you where we are going next year!!!!

Port Pacific is in a perfect location - you can easily walk to all the local amenities - shops, beach, walks. With a car all the local attractions are easily available - lots of beaches, a rainforest and the opportunity to see whales and dolphins at the Lighthouse. At Port Pacific itself there are lots of facilities to enjoy - pool, sauna, bbqs, tennis court and an adults only area. The units are well equiped and they are quite sound proof. The beds are indeed very comfortable!!

My review of three stars is probably a little bit harsh but NOISE is a big thing for me, particularly on a holiday. From 6:30am we were woken by the banging of garbage trucks at the rear of the building and then throughout the early morning non-stop corridor noise from adults and children running up and down or conversing . The rooms themselves are incredibly spacious,, modern and spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds, great bathroom, kitchen and everything you need (along with a big balcony). Its location is great being walking distance to everything in the town centre of Port Macquarie. If the hotel eventually refreshes the hallways (as they do look dated) and finds a way to soundproof the room doors and windows, then maybe we would return one day. We found some reception staff friendlier than others.

During my five day visit to Port Macquarie .. I stayed at the comfortable - Port Pacific Resort
For the reasonably priced accommodation .. my motel room was spacious .. with bedroom , bathroom , lounge room , kitchenette & veranda
I had a back room .. so there wasn’t much of a view off the veranda
The outdoor pool area was good for families
Port Pacific Resort is in walking distance to Port Macquarie CBD’s restaurants & cafes

Two of us stayed here for the long weekend. The staff was very helpful and let us check out later. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you would get in a hotel. The level 2 has a pool and arcade-style games which we enjoyed. The best part is that this hotel is walking distance to all the famous eateries . The Burger rebellion does delicious burgers and is open later than a few other venues. The car parking is covered and in the basement. The hotel has a common area for laundry and the detergent is available for 1 AUD. The lifts re problematic. Some days only one lift was working and other days the lift was working only between B and G floors. So we had to wait for a long time to move between floors. Also, the carpet in the room was a bit dated.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. Unfortunately a power surge disrupted our lift mechanics which resulted in a compromise with the call buttons until the part arrived from overseas. It has been repaired now and our lifts are back to normal. Otherwise we hope you enjoyed your time with us and we see you again .

This is a lovely apartment hotel in a great location right in the centre of town. Easy walk to shops, cafes, marina and beach. Room was very good. Lounge, kitchenette, bedroom with TV and two bathrooms !! No washing machine in room. Laundry facilities were available on site Good sized balcony with sea view, but sadly spoilt but being quite noisy at night, sliding doors were obviously not sound proof. (Hence loss of one more 'star ' rating.) Facilities were very good, pool looked lovely, even though I didnt use it and there was a playground and tennis court on site too. Nice views from the roof (adults only) which also had a spa. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Underground car parking is available. I would certainly stay again.

I highly recommend the Port Pacific Resort based on my family's experience. The unit was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The resort's location close to restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and the esplanade made it convenient for us to explore and enjoy our holiday. Additionally, the secure parking added peace of mind. Overall, I give the Port Pacific Resort a 10/10 rating and five stars.

Very Comfortable, Excellent Family Room. More than enough space with all the amentities a family could desire. Only slight negatives were noise from the bin at the back and the aircon not quite reaching the bedrooms making it slightly stuffy. Service friendly and above average. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils. Bathrooms clean and modern. One small suggestion would be a (paid) laundry powder/liquid dispenser in the guest laundry.

Great spot, very good view onto the ocean, good facilities like the pool and games area. Good apartment facilities. Covid rules apply, undercover free parking, free laundry on all floors. Entertainment system, I. E the TV was lacking and TV's not that modern were really the only downside. We stayed in room 804 which afforded a great view. No oven just a 2 element cooktop which, for an apartment is a bit lacking. Overall, we would stay here again
