The location was stunning! We arrived on sunset to a magnificent pink sky with views of the coastal headland. Ibis styles is located at the corner of the top of a hill overlooking the coast. I didn’t struggle to get a car parking spot despite the small car park. The reception and cleaning staff were all very friendly and all staff acknowledged us and said hello each time they saw us transitioning in and out of the hotel. The king spa room was considerably larger than I had anticipated and was was thrilled with the size of the spa bath. Although it was a corner spa, the size and depth of it made it feel very luxurious. In addition to this, I was expecting a shower over the spa but was delighted to find a seperate bathroom complete with shower, toilet and basin attached to the room. The bathroom was very modern and again felt luxurious. The king bed was so comfortable and it felt as though money had been spent on a good quality mattress. I slept so well each night and the area was quite and peaceful making sleeping easy. The curtains in the room were high quality curtains that blacked out any sunlight making the morning sleep in very comfortable and achievable. The room also had a couch, television, small table, and two chairs, and desk with a chair to work from. The room felt more like a tiny studio and not simply a room with bed and television. There was no toaster or cutlery, so we brought that with us. There were two mugs, two bowls, and two plates, a kettle ams a small sink to wash-up in. It made our stay easy to manage. I stayed in room 313 and would 100% request this room again. Thank you to the Ibis styles staff for making our stay a lovely experience.

Quality staff that go out of their way to make you welcome and comfortable .Top location room spotless and well appointed parking is at a premium so get settled early .Some rooms have great panoramic views this franchise excels in promoting the Accor brand. The photos on their website make this 70’s motel with its vermiculite ceilings look a lot better than it really is. The first thing we noticed when we pulled into the car park was the big ugly cargo container dumped in the carpark taking up 4 of the guest car spaces. We thought WTF if this was our first impression what was to come..? The motel is in a premium location, an easy walk to shops and restaurants etc, but the rates are overpriced for what you get. We booked direct with Ibis and got allocated a ground floor unrenovated room (compared to what is shown in the website photos). There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the small louvred window was sealed shut, so steam from the shower & toilet smells had nowhere to go but into the bedroom area. The curtains covering the large balcony doors were not wide enough to cover both ends and the middle, so they allowed the sunlight to come into the room at sunrise. Plus the curtains had holes in them as if eaten by moths or silverfish. Lots of noise from banging doors in the morning, and someone upstairs flushed the toilet and I heard the water whooshing down the pipes, and then the sound of water as they washed their hands after flushing. We paid extra for the continental breakfast - that was a mistake (see photo attached). Even though we paid for two breakfasts on both days, we chose to go to a local cafe the next day instead.

ibis Styles Port Macquarie is in an amazing location but for a 4 star hotel it is extremely disappointing. Basic things like a/c in our deluxe room did not work, blown light globe in the bedside lamp, windows do not open or shut properly and we stayed in winter so the room got cold! Breakfast was advertised as a buffet breakfast with a $20 per person discount to pre-order. This was absolutely not the case! The kitchen is closed due to renovations so what was offered was a breakfast tray with a box of sugary cereal and pre-packaged fruit cup. Deceptive and misleading. We understand things are difficult due to the pandemic but no not falsely advertise what you cannot provide. There was also no mention of the renovations at the time of booking. Overall a very disappointing stay, especially for the price. Would not recommend staying here until the renovations are complete and the hotel lifts it's game. Definitely expected more from the ibis brand.

Our reception staff would have allocated another room straight away for you if you let us know during your stay. Unfortunately, our breakfast room has been closed since early March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we are offering similar offerings as we would on the breakfast buffet. Please find attached what is advertised on 3rd party websites: Food & beverage services at this property may be limited or unavailable due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result. I confused with your comment on the hotel renovations, as the hotel is not currently undergoing renovations. Stayed here for 2 nights as a weekend away from Sydney. This hotel is in a great location with an easy walk to cafes, bars and restaurants. It is located directly across the road from yeh beach with some lovely views.
We were running a little late on our drive up, but as the reception closes at 7pm they did a lovely courtesy call to check on our arrival time.
The room is well kept and standard for a regional property. We were very impressed that they even had individual hand sanitizer in all guest rooms which was welcomed.
Check in and out was fast friendly and efficient.
Complimentary car parking is available. The hotel was very busy so on on the first night due to our later arrival there was only street parking available which was fine, the following morning we moved the car to the car park.
Although we didn’t use, the hotel does have breakfast and pool facilities for guests.
Thanks for a good couple of nights, we did wish it was longer.

My wife and I had wonderful stay at Ibis Styles Port Macquarie. The staff were amazing from check in to when we left. We booked a standard room, as all the ocean view rooms were booked out due to Port Macquarie being so busy. Staff organised a higher floor room with a balcony, which had small balcony with partial water views. I liked that they had a microwave, plates, cutlery in room if we wanted to utilize. The TV was massive too! We will be back to stay and hopefully book a Ocean view room.

Overpriced for a tiny room.... the worst “included” breakfast ever with a bit of cereal and a crumpet called “continental”.... wifi rarely worked, making its impossible to get any work done. Left a night early, as I couldn’t log onto work and the room was so uncomfortable - and when I went to to them at reception that we were leaving (and the reasons why), I was offered no apology - but asked to pay for 3 small bottles of water. We had 4 nights accom pre paid (only stayed 3), had 4 breakfasts included breakfasts for 4 people (only had it once as to wouldn’t go back) - but were asked for $10.50 for three waters. This is a truly modern & boutique hotel. Well designed down to the finest detail such as having the TV mounted on an outside wall so it doesn't annoy people in the room next door. Spacious with modern facilities such as charging points in the power point and QI compatibile clock radio. They even have a water cooler providing fresh chilled water. The staff are lovely & they offer free freshly ground coffee and tea from 7-9am on level 2. Will always pick this spot, amazing views if you get an ocean view room. The only letdown is the 1GB limit on the WiFi, as a business customer I commonly use much more than this.

hotel is steps away from beach and from nicest restaurants in town. we also walked to the koala hospital from the hotel (super cute, but maybe a bit far for kids to walk, though no more than 1-2 kms). recommend the spa rooms, they were shaded by the building's itself and jacuzzi soak was nice. rooms are decorated well and they have a nice view of the town beach and wall walk. One nice COVID concession was they left a large bottle of hand sanitizer and a large cleaning solution so we could wipe down anything for peace of mind. I found this very reassuring. Tasty breakfast though small room it was enough to meet the needs. Sabinam waited on us and followed up to ask if we'd like seconds etc.

Rooms were quite shabby, carpet stained and thin, though I believe these are being replaced. No ventilation in bathroom. On a very noisy corner. Do NOT stay on ground floor, it was very noisy with no real 'balcony'..just a concrete spot with a concrete slab to sit on. As I can't navigate stairs this is the first time we had stayed in a ground floor room and I would go for a quieter room elsewhere with a lift. The outside 'space' isn't enclosed and very open to the public. Bed was quite comfortable. No privacy with pool, right on the roadside, that was a shame.

Honestly couldn't tell you as we were on ground floor with our dog. They are teriffic on the phone to have any questions asked prior to booking. I also booked directly with them and got a bit of a discount from 3rd party sites
Hi there! We only have 1 room in the Hotel that has everything you're looking for. It's called our Superior Ocean View Spa room - some websites have a slightly different name description. It's on the top floor of the Hotel, with a king bed, large bathroom featuring a spa and separate shower, sitting area, and a large balcony with fantastic ocean views.

Our Hotel does offer Family Rooms which consist of 2 interconnecting rooms, multiple beds, and a shared bathroom.
These rooms can accommodate up to 5 adults comfortably, and have views over either the Hastings River or the Ocean.
Family Rooms feature tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, marble bathrooms with walk-in showers, free Foxtel and Wifi, and a balcony off each interconnecting room.
