We stayed in the deluxe villa over 3 nights. The accommodation is very comfortable including great lounges, comfortable beds - and a fully equipped kitchen. We're a quiet family and really needed time to decompress and explore the Hunter Valley. It was peaceful, birds were frequent visitors to the huge deck, and we frequently saw Kangaroos (both at a distance, and quite close to the building). The owners made sure we were comfortable, had our comp wine and cheese platter, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We are returnees (had suite 5 before), and would definitely book the deluxe villa again. Thanks Ailene and Andy.
PS: book if you want to go to Harrigans - it's close-by but very busy. Def recommend the Binnore Dairy for cheese tasting/shopping.

We just spent 3 nights here and we were so pleased we stumbled across this lovely clean and quiet place to stay, just off the beaten track but central to everything.

The small studio rooms are excellent with every amenity you would need and are spotless and comfortable. The two separate houses in which you can stay looked perfect for larger groups.

Beautiful grounds and gardens with kangaroos in the evenings, friendly hosts...what more could you ask for?
Highly recommended and we will be back.

Hosts (Aileen and Andy) were so friendly and helpful, quickly responding to our enquires. Location was peaceful and close to wineries, village and gardens. The actual unit was spacious and clean with the facilities we needed to prepare a simple breakfast or lunch. We would go again. Enjoyed the chats Aileen!

Lovely quiet location on huge beautiful grounds. Even though the villas are close together they are still very private - you can sit on your own patio or use a few other common areas. Peace and quiet, except for listening to beautiful blue wrens. The room was incredibly clean and well presented, with crockery, cutlery and a microwave. Aileen and Andy are extremely attentive owners and most helpful. It is very close to Harrigan’s Hotel - we walked there in just over 10 minutes. ( we are in our late 60s) It is just a 3 minute drive to the magnificent Hunter Valley Gardens which are absolutely amazing! Centrally located for many wineries. We had 3 nights and absolutely loved our relaxing stay there.

These villas are close to everything in the Hunter Valley, but far enough away from road that the only noise is that of grapes growing and clouds touching the mountain peaks. Wonderful place to stay.
Our villa was a comfortable and roomy 2 bedroom located on 20 acres. All the modern conveniences you would expect. Only 3 other villas on the property so privacy wasn't a problem.
Beautiful green grounds to wander around and take in the vistas.
So close to other major attractions in Polkolbin, you could drive out to breakfast, wine tasting, or explore the Hunter Valley Gardens in just a 1 minute drive. Wonderful and helpful hosts too!

We stayed in raccomodation number 5, two bedroom two bathrooms. It was exceptional clean and the view towards the mountains was beautiful. There was also a outdoor area with table and chairs. To be greeted each morning by kangaroos or watch the hot air balloon 🎈 drift pass was delightful. There is a communal bbq area. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the staff very helpful. A complimentary cheese platter and a bottle of wine made our stay extra special.

We stayed only one night. Such a nice location. Rooms are far enough from Broke Road the traffic noise was not a problem. Fully booked but no noise disturbances. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds to sit the afternoon or morning away. I would recommend without hesitation. Lots of birds and a few kangaroos. 😊

Loved our time at Grapevines. It's studio apartments are very comfortable and in a beautiful peaceful location. Very central to all the Hunter Valley has to offer. The cheeseboard and wine on arrival was a lovely bonus particularly when enjoyed on the deck overlooking the vineyards. Would highly recommend the apartments for a couples getaway but am sure the larger apartment would be perfect for a family.

We chose Grapevines Boutique as the group of us (4 couples) were booked in for a special wine dinner at Peppers Creek across the road. The accommodation was perfect for our needs as we took the Deluxe Villa and also the attached two-bedroom villa which effectively gave us four bedrooms with four bathrooms. The only negative for us was that the room wasn't as clean as it should have been in these Covid times but we quickly fixed that and the rest of the stay was perfect. The space, outlook, layout, facilities and friendliness were all spot on. Thanks for a great stay guys and yes we will be back.

Highly recommend Grapevines. We stayed in the deluxe villa and 2 room villa which was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Aileen and Geoff were very accommodating to make sure our stay was memorable.
The grounds and the views are amazing and the location is central to most wineries and dinning.

Thanks Aileen and Geoff, we will definatley be back next year.
