Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Gorgeous grounds, lovely apartment, very well equipped. Very smart and modern. Comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom, loads of hot water. Staff lovely (Matt was very helpful). Very short walk (5mins) out of the back gate to a great wood fired pizza restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

The manger Matt is first class country service with a smile and cannot do enough to make your stay amazing. I also came in contact with Louise who is also a gem and makes this place the only one to stay in the hunter. There is wine tasting also on site and continental breakfast and espresso coffee. The kangaroo and lots of rabbits around just add to the peace and quiet of the place Eco friendly with them generating power through solar great to see. Thank you we will be back

We stayed at H Boutique Hotel and it was very good, easy check in/out. The manager is very helpful and cannot do enough for you. The unit is very spacious, comfortable bed and lovely view. Some people mentioned the bathroom sprays water out of shower but if you put the shower head down a bit then it doesnt spray out of the shower cubicle. There is wine tasting on site and a cafe which has great coffee and continental breakfast. It is close to all locations and I would definitely stay there again. One very tiny criticism is coming home at night we couldnt see our unit number and we had to count the units to recognise ours. There is an outside light but not over or under the unit number which is camouflaged by shrubbery from the road and car park. Maybe reflective numbers would help or more signage. Dont let that put you off. The units are great and highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay as it was close to the Bimbagen Palmers Lane wedding venue. Very clean. Friendly and helpful manager. Wine tasting on regularly which was unecpected but an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay.

We booked to stay here super last minute for one night, and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! We were kept up to date with our booking pre-arrival and greeted by very friendly staff who were helpful in offering us advice and recommendations on local wineries, tour services and taxis. The villas are a lot bigger and spacious than we expected which was a lovely surprise, ours even looked out onto beautiful greenery where you can spot kangaroos and wild rabbits. The location is ideal, with most of the wineries being within a 5min drive or taxi ride (Uber was available). The bathroom was huge, as were the super comfy beds. We certainly look forward to staying here again soon!

The villa was absolutely beautiful, from driving in to the property, to checkout, everything was perfect! The manager Matt greeted us as soon as we arrived and was very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The property is immaculate and very well presented. The room itself is beautiful, incredibly comfortable and very clean. The beds were so comfortable and a great shower! The property uses solar power and tank water - love that it's eco-friendly. The kitchen is well-supplied and very modern. There is heating, air-con and a fan which is great. Great value, so glad we booked here. Would definitely recommend to other travelers and will be back for a longer stay! The views are beautiful and it's so peaceful and quiet

We travelled to the Hunter Valley for a concert weekend which we had purchased tickets many months ago. At that time, all the accommodation that we have previously stayed was fully booked and we found availability at H Boutique. The description and photos looked good so we booked at a cost of $500pn. On arrival, the friendly staff confirmed our "Studio" accommodation and informed that a continental breakfast was included but coffee would be $5 extra. On entering our room we were extremely shocked to find a dark "bunker-like" space which had a king size bed and only enough room for one person to walk around the bed and a very small bathroom. No wifi is offered in the room and only available in the common area, There was no room to even fit a chair to sit so the only option was to sit on the bed. It was not a space that you wanted to spend time in and our sliding door looked over a pile of gravel and container sheds. There was no outdoor chairs either - there was no room to put them as we were below ground level. Although the room was neat and clean, there was no room service (bed made and change of towels or replenishment of body wash/shampoo/conditioner - single use only) included and offered at an extra charge and there were 3 teabags and 3 coffee satchels provided. I do not recommend a stay at this hotel - photos and descriptions are very misleading and extremely overpriced!!!!!!!

its location is good but the room we stayed in was pretty basic and had issues. Every time we took a shower it flooded the bathroom floor and vanity, no shower curtain or real screen which was pain to keep cleaning up. Some of the power points weren't working. The fridge decided to defrost but they were quick to check and reset it for us when we told them.
