What a lovely and idyllic location for a special weekend getaway. Our hosts Gay and Warren could not be more accommodating, our Chardonnay room was perfect, right down to the bottle of port for our drinking pleasure. Cooperage is a great and unique location, perfectly positioned to take advantage of the vineyards and restaurants. Definitely worth a look see. And...

Stayed two nights at the Cooperage. Having never been to a B & B we were not sure what to expect. The Cooperage is beautifully appointed and maintained in a quiet setting in an estate. Our hosts, Gay and Warren, were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. If there were any criticisms at all it would be...

The place to go when you need to unwind. The Cooperage was a magical experience with amazing rooms and hosts. The Bed and breakfast was located in the heart of a VineYard with a serene view from our room. The Breakfasts were AMAZING... Scrumptious! Planning our next trip already

If Four Seasons starts operating B&Bs, they will be like the Cooperage - prime location, stylish and modern facilities, spacious rooms with all the expected creature comforts, privacy and great food. This contemporary, spacious and light-filled B&B sits within a winery 'right on top of the vines' in the heart of Hunter Valley. Our room (typical of all) was a...

The hosts are super friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts are the best I've ever had at a B&B. The rooms are comfortable and the home theatre is really impressive. As we stayed mid-week we had the whole place to ourselves. Location wise it's easy to get around to wineries and restaurants. Highly recommended.

I have been visiting the Hunter Valley for many years and have tried all different versions of accommodation (some more than once). I have to say that Gay and Warrens Cooperage B&B was an absolute gem. The accommodation and grounds were well presented and maintained. The rooms were also well appointed (stayed in the champagne suite) and bathroom was very...

This inn was built to host guests and the hosts live off-sight. We stayed in the Chadonnay room for 3 nights and were delighted with what we experienced even though the room itself was not spacious. We had run of the house and the common rooms are very spacious, comfortable and full of art. But it was the extras that...

We have just stayed for 2 nights at this lovely b&b. The hosts were so welcoming and provided amazing breakfasts each day. Extra touches like port and chocolates were very special. Good central location to all wineries in hunter valley region.

My husband and I drove from Sydney to the lovely Hunter Valley for wine tasting. We chose the Cooperage B n B for location as well as what sounded quite charming. We arrived and were greeted by the owner who had obviously been working in the fields on a very hot day... We were shown all the rooms and chose...

Unbeknown to my this was a concert weekend, so accommodation in the HV was scarce to say the least. This was planned as a very special mother/daughter weekend and then we were fortunate enough to find the Cooperage. Could not be happier. We stayed in The Retreat which is suitable for 2 couples. Beautiful! Definitely returning for a longer stay....
